To speak on specific agenda items: Public comment is allowed in person or by telephone. Speakers may only register to speak on an item once.
For all consent items, Public Hearings, and non-consent items other than Zoning, public comment begins around 10:00 AM...
For all zoning items, public comment will be taken around 2:00 PM. Additional time slots may be added as needed or at the request of #ATXCouncil...
🗣 For in-person & remote public comment, online registration opens at 10:00 AM the Monday before regular meetings and closes at 12:00 PM the day before. Special-Called Meetings may have a different schedule. You can register using this link: bit.ly/3PTYCwe
REMOTE speaker registration is not available after the online form closes. In-person speakers can still register to speak using the City Hall kiosks shortly after 12:00 PM the day before the meeting until 45 minutes before the meeting is scheduled to begin (typically 9:15 AM)...
Requests for language translation/interpretation services or sign language services must be emailed to City.Clerk@austintexas.gov 48 hours before the meeting...
For speaking on ANY topic (General Public Communication): Time is set aside at 12:00 PM at each meeting for up to 10 individuals to address the #ATXCouncil on topics of their choice.
The General Public Communication registration period for a given meeting begins at 9:00 AM, 21 days before the meeting, and ends at 4:30 PM, 14 days before the meeting. See the sign-up schedule for registration dates and times here: bit.ly/3Ktq9oP
