AJK PM aide take a petrol shower
In the midst of financial crisis claims, Azad Jammu and Kashmir prime minister’s special political assistant set a new record after his official vehicle is said to have consumed more than 5,400 litres of petrol in 3 months.

This may be the first time in the history of Azad Kashmir.
The AJK government told the assembly in a written response that the prime minister’s special political assistant, Raja Sabeel Khan, spent more than Rs. 1.222 million on fuel between October and December 2002.

Except for a brief period when the price of petrol was Rs 237 per litre, the cost of a litre for these three months was roughly Rs 225.
This means 5431 litres of fuel were consumed by his official vehicle over a three-month period, with an average of 60 litres consumed per day.

The 4800 cc Toyota Land Cruiser MDGA-581 is in Raja Sabeel Khan’s use.
This is also a violation of the law, as no official or minister is authorised to drive 4800 cc vehicles.
The Toyota Land Cruiser may consume one litre of fuel every eight kilometres.

That means his vehicles travelled 483 kilometres per day on average, the distance between Muzaffarabad and Lahore.

The government provided no explanation for spending such a large sum of money on fuel.
It also didn’t go into detail about his daily tours.

It also failed to explain why the government provided him with a luxury car to which he was not entitled.
In a written response, the government also stated that Raja Sabeel Khan was not appointed as the Prime Minister’s advisor

but rather as a special political assistant in BPS 20, which is a discretionary appointment
