Andriy Zagoruyko was born on September 9, 1974 in Donetsk region. In 1996, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Mathematics of Donetsk State University. He was engaged in teaching activities for eight years.

He began his television career in 2004 at the Finfort TV production studio in Donetsk, where he worked as a director, screenwriter, and cameraman

He worked as a director of historical projects on the Tonis TV channel, later in a similar position on the City TV channel

Andreev is survived by his parents and younger brother.
