Tomorrow #ATXCouncil will be meeting to discuss and vote on important items surrounding transit, student housing, and much more! Here are some things we're keeping an eye on 👀👇🏽🧵

🚴🏽‍♀️ Item 34 - ETOD: This resolution sets out to establish the Equitable Transit-Oriented Development Plan, which aims to combat displacement and provide new economic opportunities for communities impacted by Project Connect.

🏥 Item 41 - Public Health Commission: If approved, this item would appoint nine voting members from a diverse range of health services and lived experiences to the Austin/Travis County Public Health Commission.

🏤 Item 43 - Student Housing: If approved, this would establish goals for student housing development, seek partnerships for affordable dorms or private housing near campus, and consider land use recommendations for areas in the city needing student housing.

🛣 Item 44 - I-35: If approved, this item would provide TxDOT with comments from #ATXCouncil and our communities regarding the I-35 expansion. SOME comments included will call for:
- Improved east/west crossings
- Addressing traffic concerns
- Reducing environmental impacts

🌇 Item 49 - Public Hearing for Palm District Plan: This item sets out to begin a public hearing process regarding the Palm District Plan, which will guide the development and programming of Downtown’s eastern edge.
