Order repeat prescription, doctor fills out prescription sends to pharmacy, pharmacy emails me to say it is delayed due to no stock, medication is made in Belgium. This is happening every month now. Tell me again how there are no delays on meds due to the elephant in the room
For clarity, no I can't take a substitute as you can't fluff around with anti-seizure meds, yes I do have an emergency stash but it is depleting rapidly, no this wasn't happening pre-Brexshit, yes I am concerned should I run out of meds, this is no joke . #BrexShitHasFailed
To drive home the seriousness of this if I didn't have the emergency stash I would be in serious trouble. I officially run out of meds in TWO days time. I ordered my prescription two weeks ago as per the pharmacy rules they don't let me order it earlier.
Spoken to GP surgery, no phone appointments until next week. Found a work around though. Ordered barcode for script to take to another pharmacy have rung round 5 pharmacies before I found one with stock....
but what really worries me is what about those that can't go out to get their scripts filled, what happens to them? How do they get their meds? Who calls round on their behalf? What happens if no pharmacies have their meds in stock. #ToriesBrokeBritain#BrexitBrokeBritain

Teachers on Strike a 🧵
Three years ago you stood on your doorsteps clapping for the key workers, they included teachers.
The schools remained opened the whole way through the pandemic. They taught your children in spite of what was going on in the world. /1
They did their best to keep them calm in a frightening time for all. Often juggling teaching your children while having their own loved ones off ill. These same teachers are suffering fatigue and mental exhaustion. /2
Now those key workers are on strike and being vilified by the government and the press. They’re striking for fair pay they’re striking for your children’s welfare and safety and they’re striking to save the education system. /3
