It does seem to be the height of hypocrisy to declare Ms Begum a threat to national security when the UK and other Western countries have been fuelling the fire in, arming, and training Al-Qaida terrorists FOR YEARS.

SO convenient, then, that the special immigration appeals commission (Siac) were able to fob off their decision to the Home Secretary. Because the Home Office's reputation for taking responsibility is FAMOUS.

And whilst it might be a cold day in Hell before this government develops functioning senses of shame or accountability, what is abundantly clear is their duplicity, and the disparity between their accusations and their actions.

We shall continue to campaign, and support others campaigning for justice for #ShamimaBegum, for her repatriation and the restoration of her citizenship.

She should not be the government's scapegoat, their dead cat, or their stooge.
