April ‘22 Press Conference
Scott Morrison is asked why he has refused to follow the advice of his Public Servants.

His answer:
“Public Servants don’t run the government”
“Prime Ministers & their Ministers run governments.”

Wish he gave that answer at the #RobodebtRC

This one was for not following the advice of ASIO. But he had spoken about his refusal to follow the advice of other public servants before too; such as with Sports Australia in the wake of Bridget’s #SportsRorts scandal.

But now everything is the PS’ fault apparently.

A month later (May 22) Scummo says:
“Politicians, elected leaders, Ministers, ultimately make decisions coz WE’RE the ones accountable to the Public, NOT Public Servants” 😳

He said this in an abc730 interview with Leigh Sales, not long before the election (around early-mid May ‘22)

He said it there himself, that he and his ministers are the ones held to account “by the public”

And

“Not Public Servants”

But at the RRC his attitude was that it’s not the Ministers’ fault. & Not his job to check anything, it all now rests on his loyal public servants.
