Iris, 14: "found videos of trans men...[who] always felt different. Recognisable, Iris thought.As a child, she was bullied for yrs for being a tomboy. She liked to play football,hung out only w/boys & preferred to wear boys" clothes. Maybe...she was also transgender"
Iris, 15: the @amsterdamumc confirmed her suspicions. "After 6 conversations w/a psych, the diagnosis followed. She had gender dysphoria. She was given hormones."
Iris, 16: "she had her gender changed in her passport, followed by surgery. To the outside world, she became a man."
Iris, now: "Iris is once again living as a woman. She is 22 and studying. She has brought her laptop and shows her medical file. Then, in detail, she recounts the journey she went through and the regrets she ended up with."
