My latest project files are now up on @printablescom. They are simple brackets for shelves. I generated a lot of files for my pages and also included a @RealThunder12@FreeCADNews file that uses parameters to customize shelving to fit your needs.
I made a separate page for the files that contain magic measurements. Since there are over 500 files between these two pages, I figured it made sense to separate them i to make it a little easier to navigate.
I wanted to keep this project hardware-free, because I wanted to make it as accessible as possible. My fine motor skills in my right hand have gotten a lot better in the past years, but I still struggle at with small objects. #accessibility#3dprinting
Building something by myself has always been something that gives me enormous pride. That is one of the reasons why I naturally designed with the intention of making the brackets big. They were simple for me to handle with either hand. #accessibility#3dprinting
I ended up using a tooth saw to cut my pieces for my needed spaces, but it is not necessary. The pieces of wood can be store-bought to your measurements and used right away. No cuts are necessary if you don't want them to be. #accessibility#3dprinting
By using @FreeCADNews to make these brackets, the parameters can be changed to modify the measurements to your need. @RealThunder12
I used @Polymaker_3D for all the printed parts of this project. Great filament and I had no issues with it. Plus their yellow PETG looks just like cheddar cheese and their army brown matte PLA looks like chocolate, which I love.
