The @FBI wanted to “seek Trump’s permission” to search Mar-a-lago because they were debating “how aggressively to pursue a criminal investigation of a former president.”

I thought no one was above the law?

@DirectorWray, who are these field agents at the @FBIWFO who wanted to shut down the investigation?

Seems like they are, at best, horrible at their jobs.

There it is. The @FBI tried change its investigation based on political pressure. They were scared of being trolled.

@DirectorWray answer for this. Why is your LAW ENFORCEMENT agency acting based on political pressure?

Let’s not mince words. The @FBI intentionally slowed down the investigation into Trump’s classified documents which “forced” Merrick Garland to appoint a special counsel.

Some FBI agents “were inclined to believe Trump” after they got a letter from Mike Flynn’s former lawyer, Kremlin propagandist Christina Bobb claiming all classified documents had been turned over.

I’m sorry who exactly believed Donald Trump?

Absolutely mind-boggling. Yes, the @FBI absolutely screwed up “Crossfire Hurricane” because it was corrupted by indicted Kremlin spy Charles McGonigal and others, but that is no reason to compound the failure by doing it again.

This is rank corruption in plain sight.

The @FBI is so corrupt and disingenuous that they tried to delay searching Mar-a-lago for nuclear classified documents because they had an announcement about an Iranian plot to murder John Bolton.

Imagine making this argument.
