On March 3, a mob of 500 extremists attacked the minority Ahmadiyya community after offering Jumma Namaz at local mosques.

First, they gathered at the Chowrangi roundabout and then attacked the police with bricks and stones.

They also set a traffic police box on fire & ransacked vehicles belonging to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).

Then, the extremists laid siege on the homes of Ahmadiyyas.

Vandalised & looted the properties of the minority community and then set their houses on fire. The attack, which began at around 2pm on March 3, continued till late in the evening (around 8:30 pm).

Good News: Extremist Mohammed Iqbal Hossain has been sentenced to 16 months imprisonment.

In October 2021, he orchestrated the anti-Hindu violence in Bangladesh by placing a copy of the Quran at a Durga Puja Mandap.

The verdict was delivered by Dhaka Cyber Tribunal Judge AM Zulfiker Hayet in the presence of the accused.

Bad News: Iqbal was arrested from Cox Bazar on October 21, 2021, and booked under the stringent Digital Security Act.

Since he had already served 16 months, the judge has asked jail authorities to set him free if he is not booked in any other case.

4 years ago, he executed the Pulwama attack & killed 40 Indian jawans.

He also did another thing - dehumanise Hindus as 'idolators', 'cow piss drinkers' (slurs that are now normalised by Indian liberals)

It gave out a clear message that the Pulwama attack was not just limited to the Indian State but was also an act of vengeance against the Hindu majority.

Many of you are aware of a new documentary series, produced by the BBC on PM @narendramodi

In the first episode, @BBCTwo tried to give a clean chit to the extremists who set the Sabarmati Express on fire in Godhra & burnt 59 Hindu pilgrims alive.

At about 9:12 minutes into the episode, it claimed,

"The final death toll was 59 and the cause of the fire was disputed. But at the time, Muslims were blamed."

So who burnt the train? The judgment of the special fast track court on March 1, 2011, has the answer. (2/n)

Recently, he drew public ire for abusing Indian street vendors & patronising his audience about social etiquette in the West.
