Complexity can be impressive, but simplicity can lead to innovative thinking & better decisions. Don't fall prey to complexity bias. Remember, it's a moving target - not all complexity needs to be eradicated from our lives.

A 🧵about new changes/approaches at @BHeroLaunchpad ⤵️

1/ After 6 launches on @BHeroLaunchpad, we observed that the actual Levelling system where both time and staking quantity matters is over too complicated for most of the new users.

2/ We did our best to explain it in a very simple manner by designing bhero.com/my-bhero and building an all-in-one level calculator as well. Is not working as expected for the new users coming specifically in the ecosystem just to participate for a launch.

3/ The web3 user attention span is around 8 seconds. In just 8s a new user needs to understand how the level system is working and to decide if is onboarding or not. That's not helpful at all for a complex system.

4/ Taking this in consideration we started to design a more simpler approach that will be by far more simpler and in the same time will put BHAT in a better light on the mid-long term.

5/ What's the first question a new user puts on our groups? How to get at level1 on BHero now? If we cannot offer a 8s response, we just lost a new user. If that user cannot understand the response in 8s, again ..we just lost a new user.

6/ So what to expect in the next period? (1)
a) The current levels system will still be used but only for the next launch
b) Right after that a new system will be released
c) More demand for #BHAT
d) The new system will be fully decentralized using SCs for points storage

7/ What to expect in the next period? (2)
e) New products released in Q2-Q3 2023 coupled with the new points system
f) Simplicity & bootstrapped adoption similar to top 5 Launchpads in the web3 ecosystem
g) Staking and BHero systems will be 2 different products ⤵️

8/ Staking is about rewards & flexibility.
Launchpad is about skin in the game & participation on the long term.

The only constant in life is change. We need to adapt if we want more reliability, adoption, simplicity and easily onboarding new cross-chain users.
