Nice that a few people are messaging me for my take on the Brighton boys. Tbh, I don't really feel you can go wrong with Mitoma, March, Mac, Estupinan or Ferguson.

But here's my take on their impact on our #FPL teams in a bit more detail...
If you're into stats, March is clear and is playing like a man possessed under RdZ. He's got a reputation as someone who frustrates & historically has had no end product. I've been skepitcal as to whether he really is Premier League standard, but hes proving the doubters wrong...
...Since RdZ took over, March's average xGI/90 is 0.46, clear of both Mac (0.31) and Mitoma (0.29). Out of all Brighton players, he's created the most big chances, makes the most crosses, has had the most passes in the final third and has the most shots in the box...
Interestingly, despite playing 400 more minutes (4.4 games) more than Mitoma, they have the same number of "big chances missed" (4). MacAllister joins the duo on this list with the same amount missed too. Only Danny Welbeck has had more (5... in half the game time. Standard).
If you're into the eye test, Mitoma is the one who excels. It will probably be no suprise that he has completes the most successful take ons out of all our players.

You're also getting a man capable of scoring this type of goal
Mitomas baseline bonus is also typically higher than Marchs, so if both get a return, expect Mitoma to get a few more bps.

I also think its clear that overall, Mitomas quality & decision making is a level above Marchs, and in tight games, he's the man to make something happen.
We can't ignore MacAllister though. Despite many looking at him purely for set piece and penalty threat, looking at the stats, he's really excelled over the last 6. But, and I fear this will be a common issue with MacAllister, over this period he crucially has 0 attacking returns Image
A lot is being made of Mac playing in a no.10 role, but for me, his best position as a deep-lying playmaker. In terms of pure open play threat, despite the stats painting a rosy picture, I would back Mitoma or March any day over him.
The set pieces are big for Mac though, particularly penalties, and with the speed and trickery of our wingers, plus our ability to get players forward and in and around the box, I expect us to win our fair share of pens in the coming weeks, but these are hard to predict of course
Ferguson is an optional "extra" for our teams, with fierce competition from the likes of Undav and Welbeck (both of whom are posting incredibly underlying stats but can't seem to buy a goal at the moment).
Interestingly, Ferguson has had half the average penalty area touches of Welbz. But, passes more, competes in more duels, and makes more recoveries. He's not "just a goalscorer" (but is better at this too). He simply has to be first choice for us and will see significant minutes.
In defence, Estupinan is the clear favourite. His underlying stats are quite dissapointing, especially for a player who came with a reputation for attacking play & operates at wing back. However, his crosses now have Ferguson to aim at - and look at this lovely heat map too. Image
In summary, March & Mitoma are my preferred options and it's hard to seperate them. My ❤️ says Mitoma, my 🧠 says March. March's stats are absolutely outrageous & he has clearly got the bit between his teeth under RdZ, but I can't shake off the feeling that regression may hit.
If I had a chance to swap Mitoma in my team for March for free, I wouldn't take it, so by that logic I have to have Mitoma top of the list. March second, with Estupinan my third choice. I'd then go for Ferguson (although Kane, Haaland, Toney is tough to break up), with Mac last.
Anyway, hope this has been helpful! Big shout out to @FFScout of course for their members area data which is the best in the business.

So impressed with Brighton against WHU but of course massively helped out by how abysmal West Ham were. Allowed Brighton full control.

Thought March was our most dangerous player, owners very unlucky not to get something. Steele made a couple of good saves so has the jersey…
… for the next couple of games at least. Seems like a GK in the summer is a priority for RdZ but I can see Steele and Sanchez battling it out so I’d avoid them both.

Best performance from Mitoma in a while, unplayable whenin the mood and great to see him busting for tap ins…
… have to say, MacAllister shone & shot right up my list of preferred targets. Was great to see him getting involved in all the dangerous areas & wasnt content orchestrating from deep. Worth noting we surely won’t have control like that again tho, so he may play deeper at times.

EURO 2020 Group B thread below, written with key insight from fans of the respective countries:

⬇️
@MaximeBihet isn't convinced on Belgium's chances of winning the tournament and thinks there are better teams more capable of winning.

He doesn't trust the defence, and this isn't helped by Witsel being a doubt with an injury who is key in the middle of the park.
This may be the tournament where we see the emergence of Doku, or Saelemaekers, players with huge potential.

@BertVanpeteghem is much more optimistic, citing their star players & "easy" group. He also provides a ringing endorsement of Lukaku, and KDB - provided Witsel is fit.

Thanks to everyone who's been in touch about their teams for the upcoming EURO 2020 tournament. The messages I've had have got me pumped! 😎

I wanted to put together a thread containing all of the great analysis from supporters in the FPL communinity.

Let's start with Group A.
I sense some cautious optimism that Italy might go far. @dmpwright mentions that Italy won all 10 of their qualifying matches, conceding just four goals - and there is now an "identity" under Mancini.

@drewshape also praises Mancini, expecting Italy to be enjoyable to watch.
The problem with Italy may well be with goals though. There's no "superstar" player, and a weakness at number 9. Perhaps investing in defense for our fantasy teams is the way to go?
