I’ve never doubted his effort but end product hasn’t always been there. However, since RDZ joined, we have seen the best version of Solly.
In the form of his life and stats support that. Although, worth remembering he is a historical xG under-performer.

Electric. He passes the eye test with flying colours. The type of player you want in your FPL teams.
A bit quieter recently. I think opponents have targeted him - Fulham essentially started 2 right backs.
But he is a matchwinner and always looks lively.

With Lallana out, Ale has been moved into a more advanced position.
Since the switch, his goal threat has shot up. IF he starts in the no.10 role, he is our best option and has the bonus of penalties.
He is likely to start in that position…

… But I can’t say he is guaranteed to play in that role every week.
There is always the possibility he drops back, if Sarmiento gets a start or Gross is needed at full back.
And I think his best position is in the pivot next to Caicedo.

Mac is in the Argentina squad, and Mitoma will be heading to Japan.
Both play their second games on Tues 28th, before DGW29 begins Sat 1st.
Shouldn’t be too much to worry about. And our match against Brentford is big, so we’d want full strength.

I know this is a cop out answer, but I think this decision comes down to personal preference.

Eye test? Mitoma.
Upside risk vs reward? Mac Allister.

Personally, I think I will be transferring in Mitoma this week. But I’ll be happy if any of them find the back of the net!
