“the stars look so beautiful tonight.” “yeah, they really do.” he whispered while staring at the other’s face, lightening up in the moonlight.
Katsuki was never the type to look at someone like this. So… stunned. Amazed by someone’s beauty. But there he was, sitting next to his childhood friend, imagining how his lips would feel against the others’.
The blonde had been feeling like this for a while now. His stomach turned and there was a lump in his throat. Sweat would start to break through the fabric of his clothes.
All just because of the thought of-
“We should go back inside.” A soft and quiet voice interrupted his own monologue inside of his head.
The owl was hooting and the crickets were chirping on this rather chill autumn night.
The scenery was perfect. Everything was perfect as long as Izuku and him were alone, together.
“We should tell everybody.” Fuck, he didn’t listen again.
A warm blush snuck across his cheeks as he quickly avoided the eye contact the greenette was trying to make.
“About what? About us? How do you kn-“ “About the great view around this time. No clouds and all. Just the clear sky and the stars.”
A small sigh of relief escaped the other’s chapped lips. “Yeah.” Bakugou agreed as he stood up.
The problem with Katsuki’s situation was not only his love towards the other that he hoped was only platonic all the way along, which he wasn’t so sure of anymore but also his fear of loosing the one he loves the most.
Izuku Midoriya.
The class trip was going well so far though. The host was very friendly, the food was… edible.
The curfew was at 9pm strictly. The doors would get locked, windows closed, for their “own safety”, the host proclaimed.
Usually Izuku was all in for not breaking the rules. That was until Katsuki and his friends rushed into his room, talking to Todoroki, Ochaco and Tsuyu and playing cards with them when the blonde asked Izuku to sneak out.
Everyone was so distracted, nobody did notice that the two were missing. It’s not like anyone would suspect anything anyway, right?..
Katsuki knows how much he loves them. The stars. How much they mean to the boy. Bakugou would never understand the little obsession with the little lights in the sky but the minute Izuku would look up in amazement, Katsuki could swear he had been eating butterflies all day.
His heart skips beats, not one but two, his hands start to tingle and his mouth runs dry.
/This can’t be a normal friendship./
“Deku, I wanted to talk.” “Okay!” The greenette replied with a soft smile before he started hugging himself softly. “But can we go inside? To the others?” He stood up as well.
The blonde quickly unzipped his own jacket, gently laying it around the other’s shoulders.
“I need to talk to you now. In…” He looked around, making sure nobody was secretly spying.
He felt so vulnerable. He always does. It’s his fault for letting down his guard when with the other.
“In private.” His rosy lips spoke. “Oh, okay?” Green eyebrows curled upwards, like a puppy’s. “You can tell me anything, you kno-“ “I know.”
Heat went through his body, all of his veins, his blood. Hands started to warm up, he was sweating again.
“I- We- I’ve been thinking about..” Trailing off with every word he was able to form in his mouth.
“Hey..” The greenette tilted his head slightly to the side as he got closer to the other with small steps.
And in the next moment, their hands were touching. Smaller, cold but soft hands searched for warmer hands as if they’re trying to protect themselves from the unwelcoming cold.
Tender fingers lingered around the others’, finding a way to hold them kindly.
“Sorry I sweat a lot.” The taller boy excused himself, finding it quite embarrassing. Deep green eyes stared into his shining red ones in such a calm manner, half lidded.
Izuku couldn’t care less about the sweat. And it made Katsuki’s heart beat normal again.
“It’s okay.” He says in a quiet voice.
As if he feared that the owls or grills could hear them and spread the word.
The word that Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugou are in love.
“I’ve just been so confused lately, you know? I don’t know what’s wrong with me.” The blonde breathes out.
“Confused?” Izuku receives a small nod. “Because of what?” Katsuki doesn’t move. “…Or because of whom?”
There’s a loud silence between them. A silence screaming for endearment and warmth.
And just as the silence yells at Katsuki, he leans down a little bit.
The next moment their lips are meeting in the middle. Eyes closed, hands held even more tight than before and—
—and bodies pressing against each other in a gentle manner. The kiss isn’t heated up or rough nor quick. It’s a long, inexperienced and hesitant kiss.
The kind of first kiss you experience with the kind of person that that seems just right for you.
Not someone you have to kiss because of a day or anything. Someone you want to kiss. Just because they’re your person.
Both lean into their touch, lips parting from each other and then closing the gap in between once again.
Then, Izuku pulls away, Katsuki’s eyes widen.
“Fuck, I didn’t mean to- did I make you uncomfortable? I should- we should go back.”
TBC :)
Im kinda back from my hiatus, still have a few exams but im less stressed so enjoy this little something so far.
[Qrts are very much appreciated 💗]

“Well, you look at him just like you are.” “Shut your mouth.” A dirty cloth hit Hanta’s bare chest. “One more word and I will blow you up into the air they won’t even find your limbs anymore.”
This was all Katsuki needed to make the changing room go completely quiet.
“Plus I don’t even know if he’s…” “gay?” Ochaco asks her best friend. Izuku nods silently. “That’s why you should go for it!” “This is absurd.” “Not if you haven’t tried yet.” Todoroki interrupts both of them.
“Did you already hear it?” “What?” Izuku turned around to face his friends. “The new guy.”
Kirishima raised his chin slightly, moving his eyes to point at the blonde loner. “He won’t survive.” The greenette rolls his eyes. “Whatever. I don’t really care.” He mumbled with a slight shrug, going back to eating his lunch.
School was cruel if you didn’t have any friends, everybody knew that. Not because of the loneliness though.
