ok... i guess we are going to go over this...... again!!! this is why trenches in the open dont work, and the US cracked the code years ago (1991) on how to take out a trench system...
and ANYONE that says "but open ground", please just stop... at least 12 bradleys, and 8-12 tanks, with himars, 155s the new FIST bradleys, radar, stingers, etc will ALL be providing overwatch, pre planned fire missions on call.
with a added ground element with enough direct fire to kill anything that dares stand up
and im 100% sure that someplace in west ukr there is a huge field with a replicated russian trench that gets breached every day by units practicing. once ukr units get to the line the breach will be almost boring by that point.

from reports over the last few months more and more T62s are being pulled from storage and about 600 are being fixed / rebuilt. it seems that rebuilding anything with a auto loader (T72 on up) may just be too costly for russia
from reports (and now sat pictures) hundreds of T62Ms are being pulled from storage and they are doing a rush referb program. ru reports are saying that 600 tanks will be "fixed". and some have even hit the battlefield (well they were hit).
with the T62s getting the attention here is the question. just how bad of shape are the remaining tanks in to have to go this rout??? you can see them in "storage" with there hatches open, for the last 25 years on sat pictures.

@JayinKyiv 1. it was not 300K, they TRIED to get 300K but stopped about 260-270K after so many left the country...
2. about 10-15% had to be sent home due to not fit for combat, and about 2-3% had to be released for being raped to much by senior officers.. yes its a thing
@JayinKyiv 3. of the 240K of troops they got, how many do you think have been used? 2 months ago RUSSIAN news stated that over half of the mobilized had already been used at the front. russian losses in the last 3 months are over 100K (WIA/KIA) alone.

something is going on...
as anyone who knows me, knows i have been saying that russia has been doing a "just do something" mentality for the last month or so..
but now i think they are moving from a JDS mode to a new "use it or lose it" mentality..
why im saying that...
everyone knows that the russian army has MAYBE 1 more punch in it.
the russians and everyone knows that the big battle and counter battle is coming as soon as the ground hardens.
while the ukr forces have gained over 2000 vehicles, tanks, APCs, guns, etc. the rus have not been able to keep up and are losing far more vehicles than the ukr forces are.

the losses you see each day on oryx, and ukr military pages are the BOTTOM of the losses, not the top

UKR is building up its forces. fact
they are getting TONS of new equipment (about 2500 vehicles and guns total). fact
they have to wait for just the right time. fact..
they are using the eastern ukr front to kill russians. fact
the longer they are able to hold the town of Bakhmut the more they bleed the ru army. fact.
but if they have to fall back in some areas (they will) its called "trading space for time". dont get scared, or upset, its just ukr forces falling back to a new line of defenses in back
this FORCES the russians to keep throwing forces into a fight they SHOULD not be fighting and even if they "win" they get a mine field that is set with ukr artillery kill boxes. this is a classic military move that works.

i agree with this and here is why
1. belarus is not russia, they have protested in the past.
2. BEL army has stated they will not fight ukr.
3. russians have killed BEL civilians (accidents)
4. RU is stripping BEL military of gear
5. RU is openly planning to absorb BEL
6. BEL civilians have attacked rail roads in the last year
7. BEL is paying for the war by being cut off from the west costing many jobs.
8. BEL is tired of being used as a spring board for the war
9. BEL civ see that russia is losing, they dont respect ru as much now
