(3.1) Kwento sa mahal na consolidation fees

For our transport workers to be “consolidated” as cooperatives, kailangan po meron silang P300k as cooperative fee + P20k sa bawat jeepney unit na sasama sa cooperative.

If you're 20 units, that's already P700k.

(3.2) Kwento sa govt requirements

Para makapagloan at makapag-apply ng subsidy ang cooperatives sa banko, requirement ng Landbank ang LPTRP na MARAMING LGU ang di pa rin tapos since 2017.

Nasa gobyerno mismo ang backlog, pero sila ang nagpapadeadline.

(4) Second, just transition also means that the state should answer THEIR SHARE of the costs for modernization. Yung P 1.5 - 2 million jeepney units, halos lahat pinapasa sa drivers.

(5) At huli, just transition also means having a plan for workers who will be displaced, lalo na ung mga matatanda.

What they want is social security. Madami sa kanila, nakaasa sa boundary… pampagamot araw-araw once hindi na nila kayang magmaneho.

(6) These are just some of elements ng makatarungang transition na dasurb ng sektor.
