Russians are heavily shelling Kupyansk, Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, and the areas between them. They are looking for crossing points across the Oskil river north of Dvorichna, and we may see an attempt to cross the river in the future.
Russians have made several attempts to attack Novoselivske (1) and Stelmakhivka (2) without success.
Near Kreminna, Russian forces are pushing toward Makiivka (3) and Nevske (4). There might be some moderate successes, but nothing to write home about. Ukrainian artillery is doing damage to most of these Russian attacks, which generally breaks their attack before it starts.
There is evidence of a Ukrainian advance south of Chervonopopivka (5). The advance, if true, would be minor. Likely, the gray area expanded a bit.
Russian forces are attacking in the direction of Torske (6) and west from Dibrova (7), and south from Kuzmyne (8), without success
A Ukrainian attack through the Serebryanka forestry reportedly pushed Russian forces back this week (9). In the past 24-36 hours, Russians claim their counterattack retaken some of this ground (10). I am keeping it all marked as a gray area.
From what I understand, Russia is gradually withdrawing forces from the Kreminna area to distribute to other regions around Ukraine.
Around Siversk, Russians have made numerous attempts to break through the Ukrainian defenses in Bilohorivka and capture the settlement (11). Fortunately, all of their attempts have failed.
There are positional battles around Verkhnokamyanske (12), minor attacks toward Spirne (13), Vyimka (14), and Vesele (15), and slightly stronger attacks toward Rozdolivka, Fedorivka (17), and Vasyukivka (18).
North of Siversk, shelling has quieted down a bit near Serebryanka and Hryhorivka, and there appears to be light shelling in Siversk itself. Most fires are outgoing.
Ukrainian forces have bolstered their defenses on the northern and southern flanks of Bakhmut (A, B) to open and maintain the roads out of the city itself. In addition, Ukraine is destroying (or has already destroyed) the final remaining bridges in Bakhmut.
However, Ukraine is gradually withdrawing troops from Bakhmut, as you could see from the video posted by Magyar the other day and by other soldiers in the time since.
Russian forces are attacking Dubovo-Vasylivka (19, 20), Hryhorivka (21), and Bohdanivka (22), all with minimal success. Ukraine is fiercely defending against Russian attacks in the Khromove area (23). This town is vitally important for keeping the roads out of Bakhmut open.
Russia is attacking the Industrial area of Bakhmut (24), they’ve captured the Meat processing plant (25), and there is fierce fighting on Patrisa Lumumby street (26) and along the southern edge of the city (27,28).
This southern area is also vitally important for keeping the roads open. Russians are also attacking Ivanivske (29), the Kostyantynivka highway (30), and the direction of Stupochky (31).
Russian attempts to close the main roads out of Bakhmut have failed.
To the north of Avdiivka, a week ago, the Russians made some progress near Krasnohorivka (32). Since then, there has been little news. Several Russian sources say nothing here was captured, and the attack was merely recon.
They are also attacking Kamianka (33) and Avdiivka (34) with considerable casualties and no success.
West of Avdiivka, the Russians have made progress near Sjeverne (35), which is disappointing. This town is near the top of a gradual slope, perfect ground for tanks and ATGM to fire on attackers.
The Russians are also progressing in Pervomaiske, attacking from the east (36) and south (37). Russians are destroying Pervomaiske with artillery, leveling every structure and slowly squeezing the Ukrainians toward the northern part of the town.
There is heavy fighting around Nevelske (38), where Russians have repeatedly attempted to break the defenses.
Russians keep calling up reserves and assaulting. I don’t know how skilled or plentiful their reinforcements are, but reportedly they are low on manpower, and several Russian sources have articulated their fear of a potential Ukrainian counterattack in the general Avdiivka area.
Finally, there is minor fighting and shelling in the city of Krasnohorivka (39).
After moving along the northern flank of Marinka two weeks ago (40), the fighting in Marinka has stalled.
The Russians may have made minor gains in the middle of the city (41), but it is difficult to understand what is happening there because the situation can rapidly change from day to day or hour to hour.
In the south, Russian forces reached the outskirts of Pobjeda (42) a week ago before being beaten back with artillery fire. Nevertheless, they continue to assault this town.
I don’t have much news from the Vuhledar area. Russia is still trying to push towards Vuhledar (45,46), even after sustaining massive casualties in their previous attempts.
There was ongoing fighting in the dachas between Mykilske and Vuhledar (46), and the Russians tried to move toward the coal mine (45). I don’t know if they are still trying to move towards this mine. Every attempt has failed to my knowledge.
Also, in this view, you can see a Russian effort to attack Novomykhailivka from the south (44). It ended poorly for the Russians.
There are minor positional battles around the Zaporizhzhia front, particularly near Novodanylivka (47), Novoandriivka (48), and Stepove (49). There is light to moderate shelling across the front, occasionally heavy shelling in places like Orikhiv and Hulyaipole.
In return, Ukraine is shelling Vasylivka, Kopani, and Polohy.
In addition, there are occasional missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia itself and other smaller settlements like Komyshuvakha.
There are artillery duels across the Dnipro river. Russia fires artillery, mlrs, and anti-aircraft guns into settlements along the river. In response, Ukraine fires upon the Russian artillery, occasionally hitting them and their ammo warehouses.
Finally, recon and special forces raids are taking place on the islands in the river and around the Kinburn Spit.

I don't have much news for today, so this will be light.
There were a lot of shelling reports out of Sumy today. I do not believe any of these targets were shelled very heavily. Likely 2 or 3 shells in each location.
Russians continue their attacks around Kreminna without any success.
Lately there have been rumors of Ukraine recapturing Hryanykivka. I asked for clarification of this position. First, the town is mostly a gray area. A no mans land. Russia never captured the town.
I've marked their area of control in the forests. Nobody is defending positions within the town, it is too dangerous.
In the Avdiivka area, Russia has progress near Sjeverne and Pervomaiske.
Russians cry of explosions in Donetsk, Makiivka, Khartsyzk, Debaltsevo, Ilovaisk, and Mariupol.
Donetsk and Makiivka are both basically in artillery range so not too interesting. Ilovaisk is a railway hub that Ukraine regularly shoots missiles into. Kartsyzk is town north of Ilovaisk. Debaltseve is like halfway between Horlivka and Alchevsk so easily HIMARS range.
Mariupol is the big questionmark here. Or exclamation point, depending how you look at it.
In the Kupyansk area there is ongoing fighting in the forests. Ukraine performed heavier than usual artillery strikes in this area. I don't know of any territorial changes.
The Kreminna and Siversk areas are more or less status quo. Fighting in the forests near Kreminna, fighting near Bilohorivka south of Kreminna, and minor fighting in all of the front line towns around Siversk. No changes.
News for today:
Russia is attacking Synkivka with increasing intensity, mainly with infantry moving through the forests supported by heavy mortar fire. I expect Russia to maintain, if not increase, this intensity for the next week+, with the goal of reaching Kupyansk/Oskil River.
Russia is heavily shelling the Kyslivka/Kotlyarivka area in preparation for future attacks. They sent DRGs into these towns, and from what I read they were destroyed.
This is how these two areas relate to one another.
