@khalelashawe@FrontlineInFocu On the sixth of February at 4.17am, the Kahramanmaras earthquake struck southern and central Turkey and northern and western Syria. More than 50,000 were killed and millions were displaced by the disaster.
@khalelashawe@FrontlineInFocu It’s a storytelling technique they’ve been perfecting since 2018 when they founded Frontline as a Facebook page to document the stories of Syria’s war.
@khalelashawe@FrontlineInFocu Today @FrontlineInFocu is a thriving multimedia agency that produces films and photojournalism for media clients such as Dutch broadcaster @NOS and Swiss outlet @SRF. It also helps train local journalists inside Syria, where most of the team is based.
