The architectural members include mainly door frame, pillars, ceiling pieces, carved & chiseled stones, figures of Shiva & Vishnu, sculptures lions, female figures in standing posture holding lotuses, carved stones figures of gandharbhas, dancing damsels, amorous scenes etc. 2/6

According to folklore- Lord Vishwakarma built his own house when King Bana (Banasur) of Sonitpur asked him to settle and build a #ShivTemple in a hill range of Singri (Town in a bank of Brahmaputra). Destroyer unknown. 3/6
Singri Gupteswar Temple is a prehistoric temple of #LordShiva. It is believed that the temple was constructed by King Bana (Banasur) of #Sonitpur. King was the great devotee of lord shiva, son of Mahabali and grandson of Praladha (according to Purans). 4/6
Temple was built by curving a single stone by lord Viswakarma in Satyayuga.
