Manhattan DA’s office appears to hint at the specific date of Donald Trump’s criminal indictment #IndictTrumpNow

palmerreport.com/analysis/manha…
Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with some of you people? You're being handed the amazing news that Trump is set to be indicted as soon as NEXT WEEK, and you're STILL responding with nothing but angry defeatist rage about how it'll never happen. Your brains are fully broken.
What are you going to do with your lives once Trump is actually indicted? What are you now going to sit around spewing angry defeatist rage about? Your favorite outrage addiction chew toy – "Trump will never be indicted NO MATTER WHAT!!!" – is being taken away from you. Now what?
Actually, we already know what you outrage addicted losers will do. Once he's indicted, you'll shift from "he'll never be indicted" to "he'll never be convicted." Then when he's convicted you'll shift to "he'll win on appeal!"

Any excuse for you to feel defeatist rage. Sick.

Hey MSNBC – fuck you.

The news breaks that Trump is being criminally indicted next week, and MSNBC instantly launches into misleading spin about how Trump will magically get away with it all, because it's better for ratings than the truth.

Enough is enough. Turn that shit off.
MSNBC will claim that it's just trying to keep it real, and that it even deserves credit for "telling you the hard truths that you don't want to hear."

But that's not what it's doing.

It's offering you the most cartoonishly negative spin possible on this story. As usual.
MSNBC has, what, 25-50 legal experts on speed dial? If you look at their tweets in response to a story like this, you'll see a wide range of takes, optimistic to pessimistic. Yet on a day like MSNBC always manages to book the three legal experts with the most pessimistic takes.

The same media and pundit folks who told you Trump would “never be indicted” will now tell you that he’ll magically work around his indictments and you should still stay glued to their outrage peddling. Remember, these folks knew he’d be indicted and misled you. Ignore them now.
No, prosecutors are not going to “wait until after the 2024 election” to put Trump on trial for these indictments.

No, Trump can not magically “run out the clock” in these indictments and never face trial.

These aren’t real things. They’re just nonsense phrases on repeat.
These media and pundit types spent all this time insisting prosecutors had a magic wand for instant indictment, so they could bash them for not waving it.

Now these these same folks are claiming Trump will just wave a magic wand for getting out of it.

But this is all bullshit.

The Manhattan DA has informed Donald Trump that he’s likely about to be criminally charged, per NYT, and is offering him the chance to testify in his own defense next week. HERE WE FUCKING GO!
Trump is not going to testify in his own defense ahead of indictment. This DA is just making this cursory offer so that when Trump claims at trial that he was railroaded, the DA can say “Hey, I offered you a chance to testify in your defense ahead of indictment, and you refused!”
After the DA’s office appeared to hint yesterday that Trump could be indicted next week, I said that if this really was the case, the DA’s likely next step would be to give a major newspaper the scoop about Trump being indicted, so the media drumbeat will began. And now it has.

1) If you're yelling around about how "local Democratic leaders in New York State need to get their act together," then YOU are actually the problem. You're telling the public that 2024 will come down to a handful of local leaders, and not the public rolling up their sleeves.
2) Whether any given local Democratic leader is good, mediocre, or bad, it's still YOUR JOB to motivate the public to get involved in those local races. You have to make the public understand why they have to make the effort to get involved.
3) In 9 out of 10 cases, local Democratic leaders are *far* better at their job than these opportunistic Twitter pundits hyperbolically claim while trying to stoke outrage for retweets.

Either way, you have to work WITH these local Democratic leaders if you want to win in 2024.

1) How to win a 2024 toss up House race.

AZ-01 is a great example. Democrat @JevinHodge didn’t get nearly enough national attention in 2022 but nearly took down House Republican David Schweikert anyway.

Hodge will likely run again in 2024. So we can work with that already. How?
2) If and when Hodge officially enters the 2024 race, we’ll strongly get behind him early on. Donations, volunteer hours, retweets. Give him a head start this time.

In the meantime, Schweikert is sitting there in the House, going along with the McCarthy-Greene-Santos cabal.
3) You don’t have to wait the Democrat to officially enter the race. You can start hitting Schweikert *now* his refusal to rein in the likes of Greene and Santos. Push the issue. Put him on the defensive. Force him to take a position, right now, for or against Santos and Greene.

Kevin McCarthy should have known that by giving 1/6 footage exclusively to Tucker Carlson, he’d piss off the rest of the media because they didn’t get the exclusive, and the media would make a point of turning it into a huge scandal. McCarthy does not understand these basics.
To succeed as a politician these days, you have to work the media. You have to understand that the media makes all of its decisions solely on ratings potential. You have to help give the media its ratings, or else the media will decide to get its ratings at your expense.
As a politician, the cardinal sin is if you do something that blocks the media from being able to pursue ratings at all.

Do you know how inept the mainstream media looks for still not having access to the 1/6 footage that a known douche like Tucker Carlson gets to cherry pick?
