๐ฉ The British Governor and some other distinguished men happened to read about the fame & greatness of Swami in the local papers and were attracted to take His Darshan. But they felt it below their dignity to go for His Darshan and it was equally impossible to summon Him to them.
๐ฉSo they sent an expert photographer to get His pictures. The photographer tried to secure Swami's permission to take His pictures but Swami never agreed. The photographer at last decided to take the pictures without His consent.
๐ฉKeeping everything ready, he waited for the proper pose; but when he got it, before he could click the camera, Swami would turn away or move. This frustrating experience repeated itself many times before he could somehow take one picture.
๐ฉHe was immensely pleased that he could successfully deceive Swami. He immediately placed the photo-print in front of the Swami, mockingly saying,
"๐พ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐?"
๐ฉ Swami pushed the picture towards one of His devotees indifferently and said,
"๐ป๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐!" The devotee eagerly looked at it and said, "๐ป๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐บ๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐. ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐!"
๐ฉ Then Swami pushed it to another devotee and repeated the same question. The man said, "๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐!"
๐ฉIt was passed on to many others and one of them found it to be Bhagwan Shankara in meditation; another saw Bhagwan Vishnu; the fifth saw Vitthal of Pandarpur; sixth saw Khandoba; many more saw their chosen deities in the same picture!
๐ฉ The photographer lost his temper and wondered whether they were all mad; for could they not recognize the Swami's picture? So he said to Swami,
"๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐!"
๐ฉ Swami looked at it with feigned attention and seriousness, then burst into laughter and said, "๐ถ๐, ๐ ๐ ๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐!" and returned the picture to the photographer.
๐ฉ He was struck dumb with wonder to find in it a picture of a monkey! He at once realized that the Swami performed this miracle to stamp out his ego and pride and sought His pardon.
๐ฉ He once again requested Swami to permit him to take another picture saying,
๐ฉ Uda Devi was a valiant fighter who killed more than two dozen soldiers of the British army that laid siege to Lucknow, under General Colin Campbell's guidance.
๐ฉ Uda Devi Pasi was born in a small village of Awadh and like any other passionate Indian, her blood was also boiling as she witnessed the rising atrocities of Britishers.
๐ฉShe joined Begum Hazrat Mahal's endeavours of fighting for independence and was given the command of the woman's battalion by the Begum, during the Seige of Lucknow.
๐ฉDuring the churning of the ocean, many treasures came out and one of them was the much desired Amruta (nectar of immortality).
๐ฉAll the Gods and the demons were eyeing the Amruta, and soon they began to dispute over it. Bhagwan Vishnu appeared before them and asked them to sit in separate rows in order for the Amruta to be served to them.
๐ฉHe also put on a condition that they should be content with whatever they would receive. Shri Vishnu then took the form of a very beautiful lady Mohini, and started to distribute the Amruta.

๐ฉ The Chapekars are Chitpavan Brahmins from Konkan who settled at Chinchawad near Poona where the three brothers, Damodar, Balkrishna and Vasudeo, were born about 1870, 1873 and 1879 respectively.
๐ฉ The Chapekars began to feel that a deliberate attempt was being made to humiliate Hindu religion by the reformers and the religious converts, at the instigation of the British government.
๐ฉ They organized an association called โ๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐๐ซ ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐โ for physical and military training which they also called as โ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โ.
๐บ First of all, Sati took the form of Kali. Her form was fearful, Her hair untied and loose, Her body the color of a dark cloud. She had deep-set eyes and eyebrows shaped like curved swords.
๐บShe stood on a corpse, wore a garland of skulls, and earrings made from the bones of corpses. She had four hands โ on one hand, she had the head of a skull, and the other a curved sword with blood dripping on it.
๐บShe had mudras on Her other two hands โ one giving freedom from fear and the other giving blessings. She roared and the ten directions were filled with that ferocious sound.
