@LotA_IL First of all, it's an air base and that suggests aircraft. Secondly, the color of these "blue blobs" indicates the Su-27, which are painted similarly. Thirdly, between 26 Feb. 22 and today, the "blue blobs" were constantly moving around the place.
@LotA_IL I observed them in and out of the revetments, moving around the tarmac, taxiways and runway. This certainly suggests ongoing Su-27 operations taking place at the base. Fourth, the Russians who have access to far better sat images have attacked the base many times.
@LotA_IL Finally, since Feb. 2022 the base was constantly expanded, further confirming ongoing flight operations.
The wreckage of a Russian Air Force Kamov Ka-52 attack helicopter was found by Russian soldiers in the area of Vuhledar, Donetsk Oblast. The video of the crash site was first posted on 6 March 2023.
On 4 April 2022, a Russian Air Force Mil Mi-8 disappear from the radars somewhere on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. At least two crew members, major Evgeny Filev and kapitan Timur Kipchatov, were killed (perhaps only presumed dead).
Interestingly there is an audio recording of communications between Russian helicopters intercepted on 4 April.
Judging by the recording, on the evening of 4 April, six RuAF helos (including at least three Mi-8) took off from Zyabrovka AB in Belarus and headed east towards the Russian border. One of them, described as RF-04812, separated from the group and flew towards the BY-UA border.
On 28 February 2023, the Rosneft oil rafinery in Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, was damaged in a Ukrainian drone attack. Wreckage recovered at the site suggests an Aerostar UAV, manufactured by Aeronautics Defense Systems of Israel, was used.
I finally found a photo of Su-25 s/n RF-90969, code 28 yellow, that was shot down in February or March 2022, reportedly in the area of Hostomel, Kyiv Oblast.
The wreckage of a Russian Air Force Sukhoi Su-34 was found somewhere in Ukraine. The video of the crash site was first posted on 25 January 2023, but was taken a while ago.
Possibly related to one of the already documented Su-34 losses.
