Mindy’s opinion abt the J6 stuff: the Capitol & legislators are not more important than every day Americans who watched in horror helpless as their bakeries, pawn shops, little corner stores burned down. I want to see Dems have the same energy for locking those offenders up.
They cheered that on all summer but now want America to join hands for incarcerating the insurrectionists for life. Everybody who acts like a criminal should go to jail after going through the legal process. That’s all I’m asking
I mean, I just struggle when I see this trick getting 15 months for throwing a Molotov cocktail at cops and she is a whole ass attorney but we’re locking idiots who took selfies in the Capitol up for 4 years. That’s not equal justice under the law

Regarding the “2020 election was stolen” narrative. Trump was in the White House then and if it was “stolen”, it happened under his watch. States absolutely used Covid as an excuse to take unprecedented action to pay fast and loose with election law. We all saw that happening
I remember people on here discussing our concern about the mail in changes, the loose date and signature requirements and what the consequences of that may be. Particularly to the GOP as we have become Election Day in person voters so this was sure not to benefit us.
I was assured over and over again by Trump adjacent surrogates they saw it happening and we were filing court cases to oppose the changes, we had top notch teams of lawyers on the ground in these states, and we had poll watchers in unprecedented numbers.
