One of the most cherished Maratha general during the reign of Aurangzeb was Santaji Ghorpade. Nevertheless, he suffered devastating defeats against the Mughal forces.
🧵— Significant defeats suffered by Santaji Ghorpade against Aurangzeb Alamgir.

Jadunath Sarkar has wrongly translated Mutakhabu-L-Lubab of Khafi to falsely portray that Mughal generals feared Santaji Ghorpare. Below is correct translation of the text 👇.
Finally, on June, 1697; Santaji went to hell & his cut head was paraded in Imperial Deccan province.
After Santaji Ghorpare's death, in 1701; Santaji's son (Ranuji) and brother (Baharji) both of them offered to join Imperial service, but they were rejected.

The Hindu extremists have lately dared to mock the noble and the great faith of Islam. Let us however look at what their scriptures have to say on this.
[ THREAD 🧵 ] : Outrages on women committed by Dharmik deities according to Dharmik scriptures.
How did Hindu-Muslim conflict start ?
🕉️ — vs — ☪️
When companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ were fighting against Persians, the #Hindu kings would send reinforcements to help the Persians to fight against the Muslims.
The Muslims kept quiet and did nothing.
Then again, Hindu pirates of Sindh captured and dishonoured a number of Muslim women and kids travelling from Sri Lanka to Baghdad in 8th century.
The Caliphate demanded those innocent civilians to be returned but the Hindu King of Sindh, Raja Dahir made excuses and supported the criminals.
Notice the pattern, isn't it similar to today where H rapists are garlanded and rallies are taken out in their support by Hs ?
So, finally Arabs invaded Sindh and captured it to free innocent Muslims.
This began the first direct and major Hindu-Muslim conflict.
Indians would send their elephants to serve in Sassanid Persian army and also their men to manage them.
Az-zutts (Hindus from Balochistan) enrolled themselves as mercenaries to fight Arab Caliphate.
The captured Muslim women cried out :— “O Hajjaj, O Hajjaj, hear us, help us.”
When Hajjaj (Umayyad Caliphate governor) heard this, he said in reply to the call of the women :— “Here am I, here am I.”
— Chachnama, a historical account of Arab invasion of India.
So, you know now ? The Muslim invasion aimed at the liberation of the innocents and the weak.
In 2002, Gujarat witnessed a brutal Muslim massacre, large scale Muslim exode and destruction of Muslim property.
However, apart from all this, a large scale #rape of Muslim women was commited by Hindus.
Here are some statements of eyewitnesses.

Harsh Mander in his book — Cry, the Beloved Country: Reflections on the Gujarat massacre — writes :
❝... I have never known a riot which has used the sexual subjugation of women so widely as an instrument of violence as in the recent mass barbarity in Gujarat. There are reports everywhere of gang-rape, of young girls and women, often in the presence of members of their families, followed by their murder by burning alive, or by bludgeoning with a hammer and in one case with a screw driver. Women in the Aman Chowk shelter told appalling stories about how armed men disrobed themselves in front of a group of terrified women to cower them down further ...❞
A resident of Jawan Nagar, Naroda, Ahmedabad told the Citizens’ Initiative that only four out of his eleven family members had survived.
His daughter was raped and burned, succumbing to her injuries in the hospital :
❝... My house has a small grocery store and I was there in the store. A mob came from Charanagar. Five hundred strong mob came from Kubernagar. Two thousand strong mob came. They started riot, burning houses. We ran to nearby Gangotri society and took shelter on the terrace. The mob started burning people at around 5 or 6 o’clock in the evening. The mob stripped all the girls of the locality including my 22-year-old daughter and raped them. My daughter was engaged. Seven members of my family were burnt that includes my wife (age 40), my son (18), my son (14), my son (7), my daughter (4), my daughter (2). Police did not allow me to climb down from the terrace. My 8-year-old son has survived with 20 percent burn injuries and he remembers his mother. What can I do? My house and shop has been burnt…. They hit her on the head and burnt. She had 80 percent burn injuries ...❞
Now, inspite of this, the merciful Badshah Ghazi Alamgir Bahadur also remitted tax on corn (wheat / jowar / bajra / rice) just to ensure that poor Hindus don't find the price of grains expensive.
It was estimated that the 80 taxes abolished incurred a loss of crores of rupees in Mughal treasury but Hazrat Zille Subhani Alamgir Bahadur (RH) sustained this loss only for his Hindu population.
Imagine how merciful was Hazrat Khuld Makah Aurangzeb that in addition of that loss, he also remitted the corn-tax which further incurred a loss of 25 lakhs annually.
The information is taken from a primary contemporary source “Muntakhabul Lubab” by “Khafi Khan”.
It clearly states that Mughal treasury went into loss, so no matter which source (Foreign or Hindu, Contemporary or Primary) which Hindutva fanatics bring to counter, they won't succeed.
Treasury deficit is enough to show that Hindus were paying less in Jiziya than before.
Blessed be O Aurangzeb, the saviour of Hindus !
The merciful benevolent Aurangzeb Alamgir didn't only sustain losses of crores for his Hindu population but also did the following.
Brahmins, women, slaves, children below fourteen years, blind and crippled mem, lunatics, beggars and paupers were exempted from Jaziya.
A propertyless man with not enough income to support him was also exempted from Jiziya.
Now, yourself decide is it right to criticise Aurangzeb Alamgir for imposing Jiziya ? No, instead must be praised daily by our majority community.
