In a now-deleted web post, the Bundeswehr detailed how the German Navy must prepare for future conflicts, describing the shape of its fleet and a need for large numbers of uncrewed systems.
shephardmedia.com/news/naval-war…
The report included a table detailing the German Navy's envisaged 2035+ fleet, which provides for six F127 frigates, six F126 frigates, three F125 frigates, six to nine K130 corvettes, six to nine Type 212CD submarines and up to 12 Type 332 MCMVs. Image
.@naval_gazing told Shephard that the plans detailed in the report were 'very plausible'.

He added: 'They reflect the changing security environment, the Zeitenwende and the need to regenerate large parts of the naval force until the 2030s.'

they say the so-called maritime drones can do long-range maritime ISR, escort traditional ships, convoy merchant vessels and and direct artillery fire.

All at $250,000 per unit

The CTA International CT40 Cannon: proven system or cause of delays? Be it on AJAX, WCSP, or Jaguar conflicting opinions have emerged in recent weeks - full story linked below 👇

Gonna tread some old ground, and some new.
army-technology.com/features/ct40-…
First the cannon: CT40 is mandated by MOD in the U.K. and DGA in France. CTA or cased telescoped armament system is made by CTA International - a consortium of BAE Systems and Nexter, with its HQ in France. Image
In recent evidence, given to the Defence Select Committee, General Dynamics Land Systems – UK and Lockheed Martin UK both laid some blame for delays to their programmes at the door of the CT40 cannon. ImageImage
