BREAKING: Special forces of the newly formed Urban war unit of the Russian Army, Assisted by Wagner’s volunteer body, has only a few hours ago, broken down the last remaining Ukrainian defense at the #Azom industrial complex of Bakhmut & occupied its wastewater treatment plant. 
This new development is as a result of Ukraine’s inability to resupply the trapped forces in the complex, which they had attempted to do yesterday after the news broke that much of the requested western weapons had arrived Ukraine. It was also reported that Ukraine had amassed a
Huge body of western mercenaries and conscripts and were all set to launch a counteroffensive on Bakhmut. It all appears that didn’t age well after all. Like #Azov steel plant, battles are now raging in the underground facilities of the industrial complex. They have also turned
it into a fortress and Russians, as they did with #Azov are now seeking to either kill or capture them alive there. This shows that Ukrainians may have serious logistical issues that the supply of western weapons may not be able to solve. Despite Zelensky & NATO spokespersons
admitting on Live TV that Bakhmut wasn’t after all that significant and that Russia’s victory there won’t mean anything, after seeking to take it for more than six months, Zelensky was yesterday saying that his Generals at the fronts in Bakhmut have assured him they’ll fight on.
#Azom industrial complex is an area of about 100,000 square meters, similar to #Mariupol’s #Azovstal plant. After Russia announced that a route has been opened for trapped Ukrainians to exit, it appeared most of the initially 4,000 soldiers exited but about 1.000 remained
probably on the orders of the Generals who told Zelensky that they could fight on to retain Bakhmut, despite obvious signs there was no way out for them. It’s not clear how many of the about 1,000 remaining soldiers are now left there after Russia’s latest attack on the plant.
Azom is the best and most fortified area of Bakhmut. If it eventually falls to the Russians as many have anticipated, the battle for Bakhmut is over and will be called in Russia’s favor.
