This the most blatant example of Longhousing I’ve ever seen. An unreal video. Using the rhetoric of harm reduction, and communal cohesion, the DEI Den Mother passive-aggressively berates her male counterpart, all the while declaring how “uncomfortable” it makes her to do so
This has to be seen to be believed. It’s a Longhouse struggle session. Notice the strained melodrama, her performatively pained reluctance to engage, making herself the victim while browbeating and scolding this man to the snapping approval of the Red Guards in the audience.
The good news is this only Stanford Law School and so we don’t have to worry about these psychopaths and their malignant ideology ever gaining any real influence or power.

It bears repeating that Jan 6th was a completely fake psy-op to retcon the preceding 12 months of utter lawlessness perpetrated by Red Guard shock troops across the country, and fabricate a narrative end-point to justify the many breaches big and small to the public trust and our… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

This what I mean. Whig History becomes just plain old history because "arc of history" Whigs write it and impose stiff costs on anyone casting doubt on their fabricated version of events.

This thread really exposes the dangers of digital hyperstimulus. There are things we are not meant to see, or see only once. There is real danger to so casually engaging with this tech, and indulging in the voyeurism of others engaging with it. We are just getting started.
You are at risk of overwriting your memory and the sensory experience of genuine and formative moments of your life with this kind of digital simulacra.

IT IS NOT REAL. DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE. BE CAREFUL
The digital world is a Black Lodge we must all pass through, "a place of dark forces that pull on this world. A world of nightmares. Shamans reduced to crying children, angry spirits pouring from the woods, graves opening like flowers."

Check the shrill NPC quote tweets and replies to this tweet to get an object lesson in the "It's not happening" phase of the "It's not happening, and it's a good thing it is" cycle.
Whether this specific anecdote is true or not, I have no idea, but anyone who has any connection to the UC system, as a student, parent, or otherwise, knows (and is told by more transparent counselors) that all but the most select white kids "need not apply"
And this is DESPITE the affirmative action ban that went into effect in California in 1996. White freshman enrollment went from over 40% in '97, then dropped steadily every year and now is below 20%.

In the Longhouse space last night with @FrankWrights we hit on this question of safetyism, which is not the only feature of the Longhouse, but is at the top of its hierarchy of values, and serves as the justification for its most insidious demands on our behavior and speech
Here is one example of this kind of safetysism

Another observation about these stories: many instances of writers in search of something to write about. Lurid, evocative descriptions. Real talents of observation and sentence-level virtuosity, but lacking in purpose, going nowhere.
It is something like watching basketball player alone on a court, doing And-1 Mixtape style moves. This can be impressive on some level, but superficial. On its own it is just vanity, naked flamboyance. What is at stake? What is the game? What is this all advancing toward?
For all of the best writers, the best stylists, even ones that are "flamboyant" –McCarthy, Faulkner, Pynchon, take your pick–their high rhetorical flourishes serve some larger purpose; the aesthetic atmosphere is always in contact with the characters and their conflicts

Gay race communism is bad enough when it's confined to elite lib milieus, but the real mass-scale dystopia is when it leaks into the ruralite gen pop who don't have the brain power or social conditioning to manage it. It's like grain alcohol getting into the hands of the natives
This is not new btw. Dispense with the fantasy that ruralite America is filled with a bunch of innocent noble savage Americanos. The sociological immune system of these places is already broken down by decades of demonizing the "bourgeoisie values" that ought to prevail here
