@jamescfox @UnravellingU Why you never mention contradictions in testimony (esp WRT Leir's interviews), times, places, order of events in the film?

@jamescfox @UnravellingU EG, crash site location makes no sense considering how quickly people spotted aliens. Originally claimed crash on the 13th changed to 20th. If aliens were pursued on foot, how could they get so far in so short a time!?

@jamescfox @UnravellingU And what of the girls claiming early on not to have known mentally ill crouching man who lived next to the wall, then later claim they knew him--all of which was left out of the film!? And what of them originally denying any kind of 'smell' at all. And mother's changing story?

@jamescfox @UnravellingU If the craft did crash on the 20th, he claims it was around 8:30 and there were military already there (according to Leir's book). Yet 8:30am was also the time the firemen got a call to catch the 'creature' near Varginha, Santana district. Makes zero sense.

@jamescfox @UnravellingU Unless they dropped out of the craft on route to crash site (maybe that would explain the broken leg of one of the 'creatures'?). Yet the farm hands saw the craft over head at 1am and would have been on path of presumed route before the crash.

@jamescfox @UnravellingU If that is true it means the craft was out of control and drifting over huge area between 1am and 8:30am in an area of Varginha, Tres Coracoes, Moinho, etc. You'd have thought more than 3 people would have seen it.

@jamescfox @UnravellingU Firefighter were claimed on scene between 7am and 10:30am around Jardim Andere and Santana districts. Yet when asked, fire Captain denied it. When Ubirajara went for a drink of water during interview, overheard firemen mocking him about the alien. Understandably he was butthurt.

@jamescfox @UnravellingU He then interviewed forest police, who seemed friendlier and even interested in Ufology, yet they also denied it.

@jamescfox @UnravellingU It seems Leir was also trying to obfuscate the location of the crash site to hand wave away the huge distance between where alien was caught by firemen. In his book in Chapter 10 he claims:

@jamescfox @UnravellingU "One of the possible scenarios is that a number of these beings survived the crash and made their way through the woods, ending up in the park of Jardim Andere, six miles to the southeast."

Except the crash site was more like 12.5 miles away, as the crow flies. ...

@jamescfox @UnravellingU Leir also consistently gets his compass directions reversed, but whatever.

@jamescfox @UnravellingU It seems Ubirajara even tried to interview the boy who saw one of the aliens getting netted by the firemen but "We’ve got access to a boy that said he was present at the capture. But his words didn’t make any sense"

@jamescfox @UnravellingU Then there is Leir's incridble interview with the medical workers who claimed to have seen an alien and operated on the broken leg. There are a number of strange things about this interview:

@jamescfox @UnravellingU Firstly he claims that there were multiple people he was interviewing, but for matter of "simplicity" he only transcribes what they say as a single entity. But even worse than that...

@jamescfox @UnravellingU what is said at the beginning of the interview contradicts everything that comes later:

@jamescfox @UnravellingU "MP: First of all, we would like to explain we do not have first-hand knowledge of what happened. We were told about certain things that happened in the hospital, but we don’t have any first-hand knowledge."

@jamescfox @UnravellingU "Dr. L: Please go ahead and tell us what happened or what you heard happened."

Then the rest of the interview is transcribed as if they were actually the ones who experienced it (really wild stuff)!!!

@jamescfox @UnravellingU Well, at one point Leir writes "I ... noted a change in attitude from individuals who were supposed to be the recipients of rumors and third-party comments to actual first-hand witnesses and participants"

@jamescfox @UnravellingU Does that mean he detected an 'attitude' and decided to transcribe everything as if it were first person testimony or is the testimony verbatim? It is impossible to tell because there are also multiple people being interviewed but have been edited into one person's FPPOV.

@jamescfox @UnravellingU This person/people/interpretation makes no mention of a 'smell' at any point. They also mention it had scales and excreted a green gas before the eyes of the creature went into hypo-mode and told them some spiritual type shit.

@jamescfox @UnravellingU The narration/voice also claims the creature had strong muscular legs, not skinny at all.

@jamescfox @UnravellingU The 'no smell' vs 'strongest smell ever on earth I had to scub my nose out' discrepancies, I think, speak volumes. This was not the only smell discrepancy example, but you know all this anyway. Your film inspired me, but after looking deeper I'm now left disappointed.

@jamescfox @UnravellingU I believe some people saw some things and their experience were conflated, exploited, and confabulated into one seemingly coherent narrative which in parts are true, but in sum are a lie.
