Jungkook has finally decided to confess to his best friend Taehyung, using the easiest and cutest confession he could think of. But Taehyung is a little oblivious .
Jungkook looked at Taehyung as the male went on and on about alternative realities. Quite frankly, Jungkook wasn't sure what prompted the conversation but he wasn't going to cut his best friend off.
Best friend. That's what Taehyung was to him.
But Jungkook wished they were more. Which is why he decided to finally confess.
He had spoken to Jimin and Yoongi about it, and they told him to keep it simple. As a grand gesture would possibly overwhelm Taehyung.
So, Jungkook planned on confessing to Taehyung the cutest and easiest way he could think of.
They'd spend the entire day together, like they always did, then he'd ask him to go for a walk at a nearby park. He had it all planned and he'd hope it would all go as planned.
“Are you even listening?” Jungkook blinked as he looked over at Taehyung, the elder looked at him with his eyebrows furrowed.
“Sorry, I must've gone somewhere else for a second.” Jungkook replied and Taehyung nodded before he continued.
Going on about how he was sure that in another reality he was an actor, a top tier one at that.
Jungkook simply listened, a smile on his lips.
They went to lunch, they went shopping (Jungkook spoiling Taehyung a little) they went out for ice cream,
and when the sun began to set, Jungkook decided to ask Taehyung.
“When the sun sets, do you wanna go on a walk to the park?” He asked the elder who was just about finishing his ice cream.
Taehyung smiled and nodded in agreement, “Yeah, I'd like that.
We haven't done that in awhile.”
They walked slowly toward the park, sun setting behind them. Taehyung was telling Jungkook about how much he'd like to visit the beach soon.
Jungkook smiled and told him they could plan it out if he wanted, and make a trip out of it. Taehyung smiled widely and agreed.
“Would it be just the two of us?” Taehyung asked, and Jungkook felt his stomach drop.
“Would you like it to be just us?”
He asked and Taehyung nodded.
“Yeah, I like spending time with you, besides, the others would just be all over each other. I don't want to have to witness PDA constantly.” Jungkook chuckled nervously.
“Yeah, you're right.”
They decided to sit on a bench that overlooked the city, there was a full moon that night and it was gorgeous.
Jungkook stared at the moon for a few minutes before taking a deep breath and turning to Taehyung.
The male turned to him and smiled at the younger.
“The moon is beautiful, isn't it?” Jungkook asked, his hands shaking on his lap.
Taehyung looked from Jungkook to the moon, “I don't know, I think the sun is prettier.”
Jungkook’s smile dropped as he frowned at his best friend, “What?”
Taehyung nodded, “Think about it. The moon is nothing without the sun, it is bright because of the sun. Without the sun we wouldn't have the moon, so really, the sun is far more beautiful.”
Jungkook stared at Taehyung with his mouth agape, the elder going off on facts about the sun and moon that he knew. The younger one didn't know what to do other than sit there and listen.
He wasn't sure if he should feel rejected by Taehyung or
endeared at the fact he didn't understand Jungkook had just confessed.
“And that is why I think the sun is prettier.” Taehyung said at the end of his ten minute rant about the two. Jungkook nodded and looked down at his lap, Taehyung looking away from the moon to look at him.
“You okay?”
Jungkook looked at him, a small smile on his lips, “Yeah, I’m okay.”
Taehyung smiled in return, “Do you know why I prefer the sun, Jungkook?”
“You just went on a ten minute rant about why you do, Taehyungie.” Jungkook said quietly and the elder smiled wider.
“I love the sun because the moon is nothing without it. I'm the moon, and you're my sun.”
Jungkook blinked slowly, and it made Taehyung chuckle, “I love you.”
“What?”
The younger continued to stare at Taehyung and the elder couldn't help but laugh,
“You're pretty oblivious, I just confessed to you, silly.”
“I’m in love with you, Jungkook.” He continued.
Jungkook didn't have the heart to tell him the oblivious one was him, so instead he smiled and pulled Taehyung in for a small kiss,
mumbling “I’m in love with you too.” against the elder’s lips.
Jungkook never corrected Taehyung whenever he'd tell people he was the one to confess to Jungkook. He wanted him to have that satisfaction, even if Jungkook knew the truth.
He didn't mind it, because at the end, Taehyung and him were together and that's all that mattered.
Namjoon is quiet, shy and alone. Seokjin wonders why, and it's as if life is on his side when he's given the perfect opportunity to get close to the other.
Namjoon was a quiet one, kept to himself most of the time. To the eyes of everyone else, that was a little weird. As everyone on campus had friends, at least one friend, but Namjoon didn't.
From the moment he'd enter the campus to the moment he left, Namjoon was on his own.
In fact, no one ever knew what he sounded like. Never speaking in class either, and in fact, his professors never asked him to.
“Very well, before ending the class, I wanted to let you all know we will be having one final project.”
