In Selvam, Dharapuram Sundararajan Jamuna Rani 'Vaa Enakkaaga Vaa' , in Panmaa Paasama 'Maariyadhu Nenjam maatriyavar Yaaro' lilting one by PS, Jai starrer Kulama Gunamaa 'Ulagil Irandu Kiligal', Kula Vilakku's lullaby 'Poopoova Poothirukku'

'Kurathi Magan's that peppy number 'Kurathi vaadi en kuppi' what a rendering by both PS / TMS, Aadhi Parakasakthi, what a brilliant album this one from KVM

The Ananda Bhairavi 'Naan Aaatchi seidhu varum' by PS, TMS not lagging behind to give one of the finest performance by SVS, 'Solladi Abirami' with Kannadasan penning those amazing lines, Sirkazhi belting the foot tapping 'Aathadi Maariyamma' for SuruliRajan... way to go

Likewise his association with another legendary Director APN for many mythological blockbusters 'Thirumal Perumai, Kandan Karunai (for which he got the National Award), Saraswathi Sabatham, Thiruvarutchelvar, how we can forget 'Mannavan Vandhanadi'

And the magnum opus 'Thiruvilayadal'. Notwithstanding mythological, he and APN has given Navarathri, Kulamagal Radhai (unnai solli kutramillai), another magnum opus 'Thillana Mohanambal

When you mention KVM, people jump to talk about Sankarabaranam, just check out his association with K Viswanath, the duo has given many memorable albums outside of Sankarabaranam, not related to music subject. KV has directed many movies with socio issues centric

But the general perception KV is known for Sanakarabaranam type of music orinted as KVM people brands him he is basically a MD with carnatic classic touch, which is not true

Open up your mind, dont be biased, come out of fanboying syndrome, you will get to hear the best music of TFM in 40s to 70s by KVM, who was most under rated, unassuming, not been given his due for his offerings to the music world !
