In an Biography he was accused of DV by his ex-wife Charlotte Fawcett. He claims it was “only once” . He hit her so hard he broke her nose and she was hospitalised. The book claims he was violent on multiple occasions over many years /2

In 2021, Tory MP Caroline Nokes accused him of “smacking” her on the bottom and making an inappropriate comment at the Blackpool Tory conference in 2003. He was an MP at the time. This was the first allegation of sexual assault against him. /3

Journalist Ailbhe Rea accused him of groping her at the 2019 Tory conference. This is the second accusation of sexual assault against him. He claims to have no recollection of it. /4

In 2020 he broke Covid rules and travelled to Greece despite the rules saying only essential travel was allowed. He defending his actions claiming it was “essential to covid proof his holiday villa” /5

In September 2020 he was pictured breaking Covid Laws by not wearing a mask in a shop despite it being compulsory to do so. He apologised for what he said was a "slip up" and urged everyone to follow the rules /6

Originally a Remainer in 2016, in 2017 he campaigned for Brexit. After the Referendum he subsequently became a French Citizen so he could “reclaim what he had” /7

In August 2018, he defended his son Boris Johnson's comments that Muslim women who wear burkas look like "letterboxes" and "bank robbers" claiming they did not go far enough, & that criticism of the comments had been "synthetic indignation" created by political opponents. /8

In November 2019, Johnson appeared on BBC's Victoria Derbyshire show after being told that a viewer had called his son Boris "Pinocchio", Johnson replied, "Pinocchio? That requires a degree of literacy which I think the Great British public doesn't necessarily have." /9

In a 2012 Interview with The Guardian he made highly controversial statements when referring to “depopulation” and appeared to claim that certain races should be depopulated – link to interview in sources tweet /10

Further to the above he has also suggested that Britain should “do more in terms of helping developing countries curb their population growth” /11
