just got a question on the Secretsqrl line.....
"Hi David. Ukraine needs more manpower to succeed as the Russians will keep coming. For generations. How about that argument?"
ok down the squirrel hole....
1. lets look at the numbers... 144 million vs 44 million.. but wait ukr allows women / gays in the military (army).. ru does not (officially).
yes russia has a larger military, that takes manpower, and a navy, strategic air force, nukes all that take manpower. that ukr does not have to ma.
so now you are down to about 55 mil vs 44 million.
now rus. is something like 10 times the size of ukr.
that kind of country HAS to have manning, so they lose more manpower. you can not have a empty country, the trees wont cut themselves down, and the oil doesn't pump itself
now Neibers, russia is not liked in many areas, the border guards and internal security needs are HUGE in russia, china, japan, the stans, georga, azer, etc all want land back.. ru has to keep some forces there.. draining manpower
weapons, russia is trying to kick production in high gear.. thats 100s of thousands of workers making bullets, radios, tanks (yea right), food, etc....
ukr is being given most of its gear, this frees up others for combat.
WIA..
troops in russia are dying in huge numbers and most of the badly wounded die... thats a fact.
in ukr many of the worst wounded are returning to combat or support units when healed... this is a huge + for ukr.
historical... in Afghanistan russia lost about 20,000 troops over 10 years, 10,000 of them due to combat... so 10K in 10 years.. this helped doom the USSR, its the 2nd thing that helped break the back of the USSR, after it running out of money.
at SOME point the truth will come out, its just a matter of time. you are already having millions of rus leaving the country rather than serving.
the price of a moscow apartment has dropped 30% in the last year. while the price of a similar apt in Georgia is off the charts

again the squirrel line has been activated..
"David! Can you please do a short thread on TOW 2b… how the missle flys over, but shoots warheads down over target? That is 🤯"
ok here we go......
lets start with the target... any random ru tank,
look at the blocks all over it. the blocks are ERA or explosive reactive armor..
great for things like older RPGs or LAWs...
they have little effect against a tank round or a tow II
the first tows would hit the brick and blow up, some of the super heated plasma would vent away from the blast. this was somewhat protective... for the 1970s.. yes 1970s tec used on a modern tank,
as i have been saying for over a year...
"THE T-90 TANK IS A DEAD END OF THE T-72 TANK". its really nothing new, no super weapon, most parts are T72, and in some ways its worse than a T72. at $5 million each its a huge waste of money, please keep building them!!!!
recently a ukr soldier with a WWII era karal gustov took one out.... with a shot to the FRONT. yes the thickest part of the tank
so far the ukr army has killed or captured about 20 of them
another question to the squirrel line...
" David,
I really enjoy your input. I have no military background, so I hope you can answer me a question regarding the damage artillery and tanks do:
I often see videos where shells are somewhat exploding near a tank, artillery piece or a group of Russian soldiers (the lastest case mainly dropped from drones). It often seems to my none professional eye that they do not that much of damage.
in the military if you are a battalion commander in combat YOU DONT SEE THE WHOLE BATTLEFIELD!!!!
you dont see whats going on behind the lines, you dont know about future plans, and YOU DONT GIVE INTERVIEWS without the army public affairs officer there!!!! news.yahoo.com/battalion-comm…
i was interviewed (or they tried to) quite a few times in baghdad. every time a CNN guy would come to talk to me i loved to talk to them
CNN "so how do you like it hear sgt"
me "its FUCKING GREAAT"
CNN "umm sgt could you please not say the F word on film?"
me.. "sorry sir i will try not to say fuck"
CNN "ok again..."
me "fuck i love it here, ow sorry F word again"
CNN "GURRRR"
me "im fucking sorry sir"
just a rant... no one take offence
BUT..
Ok this is going to be a bit of a rant about something I have seen and experienced that in my opinion Ukraine is really messing up on and is a simple fix, its also making Ukraine NOT look good to many.
First I am going to clarify it has NOTHING to do with the Ukrainian aid group im working with, they have been great. If you have any extra money liberty Ukraine is where it should go in my opinion… its not about them…
1.As a civilian I love helping liberty ukr. WAY over 150K in gear has been donated directly from me or by a handful of fundraisers I helped get going.
so its a pattern,
russia tries a ground attack... losses. then during the pull back or redeployment of troops throws a tantrum and fires off a heavy bombardment of rockets to try and punish the ukr civ for getting its butt kicked on the battlefield.
word was the 155th and 40th have been pulled back and the battle was paused.. probably wagner has stopped or slowed. so....
