These conservative men clearly see their wife as a servant, an an appendage that was bred to help him realize his dreams and not a person in her own right, and they sit there gleefully giggling about it, it’s bonding for them. I would rather die than be married to such a man.
My uncle is the sole provider of his family, and my aunt has been a SAHM for two decades. But he always helped out around the house when he could. He never acted like these chores were beneath him and he never giggled with his friends that he didn’t know how to do laundry.
My aunt never felt that being a SAHM was humiliating but that’s because she had a husband who also participated in the home and didn’t treat her like his maid. He didn’t diminish what she did because he didn’t see housework as humiliating and instead a valuable contribution.
If you’re married to a SAHM and you refuse to lift a finger around the household you helped create, you are telling your wife everyday that her work is beneath you, of less value, and not respectable, that you see her as a prostitute who cleans your house.
Don’t expect this woman to be happy or respect you, women pick up on this and it drives them insane
It’s the male equivalent of a woman who has no kids at home anymore and is able bodied and whose husband is struggling to make ends meet but she refuses to even get a part time job, although this is much more rare and everyone has a problem with such women
