Later, Karnataka Minister & film producer Munirathna @MunirathnaMLA had announced that he wilk making a film on Vokkaliga chieftains Uri Gowda & Nanje Gowda. He claims that the movie was scripted by Higher Education minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan.

Interestingly, The pics used in the flex banner and in the movie poster by Karnataka BJP leaders are of Maruthu Brothers (Maruthu Pandiyar), Rulers of Sivaganga kingdom who fought against the British & were publicly hanged to death at Tirupputhur fort by British in 1801. 🤣🤣

In an old tweet by BJP Tamil Nadu president @annamalai_k, You can see him bowing Maruthu Pandiyar brother's potrait. Not sure if he tried teaching history his good friend in Karnataka Mr. @CTRavi_BJP 🤭

In an attempt to woo Vokkaliga voters in Karnataka, BJP leaders tried to rewrite history by using images/paintings of Maruthu Pandiyar brothers from Tamil Nadu and with claims that they were Uri Gowda and Nanje Gowda (fictitious characters) who killed Tipu Sultan. 😭😭😭
