If Russia uses tactical nukes, then the world is done. There is no going back if Russia pulls that trigger

@Balkan_WayAS the whole nuke thing here again...
and tactical nukes at that... 1. how old are you? 2. did you not live through THE COLD WAR?
tactical nukes were threatened every week prior to 1991. and they were planned to be used... so big deal
@Balkan_WayAS tactical nukes are NOT THAT big, and really dont do THAT much damage (not like you see in movies)...
a tactical nuke if used would probably be fired out of a 152mm or a 203mm cannon.
@Balkan_WayAS the blast would be less than a km, and if the fireball is not totally on the ground there would be limited fallout. they could only fire a handful of them prior to all electronics going dead. EMP
@Balkan_WayAS so lets say they fire one off on ukraine...
what would NATO do??? probably impose a no fly cap over ukraine and part of russia and belarus. nothing could fly, F22s and F35s cant be tracked by russian ADA so that would be the end of the air war in 30 min.
@Balkan_WayAS F35s flying overhead could point at targets for F15E, and F16s to hit. the crimea bridge would be gone, every HQ for every field command would be gone.. you would have a bunch of wounded russian units without leadership being attacked by a renewed pissed off ukr army
@Balkan_WayAS ukr would no longer have any restraints so the 105 brigades would be allowed to go on the offensive after NATO opens up every storage facility to the ukr army.
@Balkan_WayAS they (russia) would lose the support of belarus, iran, and china... NO ONE WANTS THERE FINGER PRINTS ON THAT TURD.
russia would lost there spot in the UN, they would find that the last western and china based companies would pull out in 24 hours, millions more unemployed
@Balkan_WayAS in the end 1-2 tactical nukes may take out 2 battle groups.... maybe. again with a 106 brigade army the other 104 brigades would be free to kill every russian in ukraine without thinking, and without having to worry about the black sea fleet or the ruaf.
@Balkan_WayAS and i have tanked to many ukr people about this.. if 1-2 new slightly radioactive state parks are formed by tact nukes that in turn mean the end of the russian federation, and the end of the russian military threat, you know what? most ukranians are fine with that.
@Balkan_WayAS and by the way... from ukraine the wind mostly blows .... east.
ukraine is ready for this possibility, and so is nato
a tact nuclear strike IS NOT FOLLOWED UP BY a strategic one, there are steps.

i got a comment today.. YEA!!! "I broadly agree with your analysis, my one critique is that, while a lot of the Russian equipment sucks (especially T-55s, Jesus) most of it is still deadly to some degree. The Russian strategy has always been to rely on numbers."
Most of the time it works, sometime it doesn’t. I know this is Twitter and it’s enjoyable to dunk on idiots but I think you have a lot of insight that could help people understand the balance of forces,
threat and strategies in play vs. spending a lot of time pointing out that Russian equipment is generally poor.
ok i do not know 100% what went down.
i have had my run in with JV. he seemed to be mad at the world, and made threats to people all the time (when he was int he US).
but i did give him some credit for going to ukr and helping (we should be able to see eye to eye on that).
BUT
i do know he was breaking opsec, some of the things he was posting i would never do.. and some of the things were just strange.
i dont like biden (BUT) i agree with him on ukraine, and we can agree to disagree on other things.. BUT he kept wanting to go political.
also it appeared that he loved the lime light.. all that is forgivable due to the fact that it APPEARED that he was with the ASU in some way.. good for him..
but then the money questions, ok got it bad book keeping benefit of the doubt... ukraine and all...
here we go another squirrle hole dive down the hole of russian disinfo to a little truth and insight...
"Dear David, I have been reading your isnight for a while.I donot always agree with your conclusions but Iadmire your perspective.
Let me ask youa question that has been bogging me for a while:
Russia is said to have 400+T90 tanks + 200+in reserves.
Thatis about 15%of the totaltankfleet russia has prior to the invasion. It is alsosaid that they would be able to build 200+new tanks each year.
4:35 PM
But there are only 57 T90s on the Oryx list,-3%of all tanks.
4:36 PM
Which number is wrong? If 15%of all russian tanks are t90s, they should at least 10%of the total loss, even if they are much better.
russia has said that they will react if the uk sends depleted uranium rounds to ukr..
do you think they should be sent?
if the UK is blocked from sending them all is good right?
NOW, dont read more till you vote........................
russia is trying to do a crash building program to help replace the old and outdated AK platform with what they say (and i agree) is the best overall rifle in the world.....
from reports many small companies have been task to turn out copies of the M16/M4 to replace AKs
another day, another question for the squirrel line..
"Hey, weird question but I couldn’t think of anybody else on my follow list that does what you do (museum work). Do you know the best way to go about getting a patch and/or flag worn/kept in battle for an obvious donation?"
I hope it’s not an inconsiderate inquiry as it even makes me feel a little weird wanting them. The donation will happen regardless; is there anything in particular you are raising funds for currently?"
answer.....
liberty ukraine is about to have a auction for items, go to the liberty ukraine web sites here and on facebook and you can see things from the front (flags and patches) that you can bid on... and they are a 501C3 not for profit... YEA.
