We are entering into the year ‘Shobha Krutha' (శోభ కృత్) this year.

#Ugadi= Yugadi stands for ‘Yuga’ which means An Era and ‘Adi’ which means New Beginning.

Thus it means the beginning of a new era. It is celebrated across the state of AP, Telangana and Karnataka as new year.

This day is celebrated as the beginning of a #NewYear in different parts of the country.

Five-Faced #Hanuman.

Hanuman faces the East, Narasimha faces the South,
Varaha faces the North,
Garuda faces the West, and Hayagriva faces the Sky.

Hanuman faces East. He grants purity of mind and success.

The Narasimha faces South. He grants victory and fearlessness.

The West facing Garuda removes black magic and poisons.

The North facing Varaha, showers prosperity, wealth.

The Hayagriva mukha faces the Sky.
However, to make it visible to us, it is usually tilted and shown above Hanuman’s face. Hayagriva gives knowledge and good children.

Do you know why were the eyes of Venkateswara covered in Tirumala?

#Venkateshwara was very impatient towards the authorities who were making faults in Thirumala, which were disturbing the normal people, bhaktas and the poor people, who want their wishes to be fulfilled.

Govinda doesn't 't spare the wrong doers, if innocents were in trouble. He was giving punishments to those authorities, whenever they were doing silly mistakes. So authorities and Archaka varga were fearing to wander in the vicinity of Him.

Then Archakas decided to cover his eyes by increasing the size of Namam with camphor, to cool him. After increasing the width of Namam ad covering eyes with the camphor, the destruction was reduced. Nethra Darsanam for weekly once had started from then onwards.

एक बार अर्जुन ने कृष्ण से पूछा
"माधव,ये 'सफल जीवन' क्या होता है ?"
कृष्ण अर्जुन को पतंग उड़ाने ले गए।अर्जुन कृष्ण को ध्यान से पतंग उड़ाते देख रहा था।
थोड़ी देर बाद अर्जुन बोला-
माधव..ये धागे की वजह से पतंग अपनी आजादी से और ऊपर की ओर नहीं जा पा रही है,क्या हम इसे तोड़ दें?

पतंग थोड़ा सा और ऊपर गई और उसके बाद लहरा कर नीचे आयी और दूर अनजान जगह पर जा कर गिर गई...

Ahobilam is the place where #Vishnu in the form of #Narasimha killed the Rakshasa Hiranyakashipu in order to save his bhakta Prahlada.

Ahobilam temple Bhagwan' Murti is said be installed by bhagwan Venkateswara himself before his wedding.

The upper Ahobilam has a Ugra (angry) form. There are several Narsimha temples in the surrounding hills like Pamuleti Narasimhaswamy, which are popular among local populations.
