The Siddhi community's traditional occupation is cutting wood. She worked with her husband to repay a debt of 1 lakh.
To save her land from being sold, she started looking for other means of income.
She heard about organic compost on a radio telecast and decided to work on that.
Using Organic compost as a means of earning, she brought many women of her community to work with her and train
She retained those who were willing to study along with working.

She has worked with more than 700 women n helped them move from their traditional occupation to compost
Her illiteracy hurt her, she initiated many programs to push education amongst the girls.

From holding discussions and talks to enlighten the women about education, hygiene, birth control to actually helping schools have better attendance,Hirabai has relentlessly worked on her ppl
Helping schools in shambles, opening bank accounts of women, walking them to offices, help them fill forms, discouraging her people from chopping woods of Gir Forest.

These tiny but effective steps have brought her to the pedestal of national admiration.

Rani Karnavati didnt think of a thread out of the blue and sent it to Humayun.

The elite historians of India made sure that the first story we hear about Rakshabandhan was of Humayun and Rani Karnavati, and that it began as a practice or festival was in India after Rani Karnavati sent a Rakhi to Humayun to protect her kingdom from invasion of his own kind. Though she couldn't save herself and committed Jauhar, Humayun gave the kingdom to her son. But it remained one of the major Hindu festivals, which turned into a festival Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb and bhaichara.
The ritual of Rakhi has long lived in Sanatan history, and that's why Rani Karnavati chose to practice it.
Here are the stories-Image
Once Lord Yama did not visit her sister Goddess Yamuna for 12 years. Goddess Ganga reminded him to visit Goddess Yamuna. Yamuna got really happy by seeing her brother after so long so she prepared delicious meal for him and celebrated this day by tying Rakhi on his wrist. Image
Goddess Lakshmi, wife of Lord Vishnu wanted to return to his native place of Vaikuntha. So, she tied the rakhi around the wrist of demon king, Bali and made him a brother. Image
