Looks like I already had that account blocked, so I assume it was renamed from one of the assorted Mignogna CHUDlets

The cite to South Carolina did make me chuckle though (I'm not from South Carolina)
Also makes me wonder why I'm seeing tweets from blocked accounts 🤔

Lawyers from the "elite" schools don't know what they're doing either
Also a non-trivial % of them produce absolutely sh*t work product that would get any Tier 4 law grad fired without a second thought
I first noticed something was amiss when I co-counseled with a grad from a local T14 who didn't understand how alias & pluries summonses worked

I got confirmation when I went in-house and we were paying [NDA-redacted] an hour for garbage

Went down to WDW for a few days to celebrate my impending birthday

I am already *profoundly* sunburnt 😂
Weather was moderate, stood in shaded areas most of the day, fully clothed -- didn't even think about needing sunblock

Not making that mistake tomorrow 🙃
Until then, spending the evening with a bottle of aloe applied every 30min or so 🫠

As entertaining as this would be, Reynolds v Sims (377 US 533 (1964)) ruled this out more than half a century ago -- a case about this very thing

"Legislators represent people, not trees or acres. Legislators are elected by voters, not farms or cities or economic interests."
This type of performative sh*t is why I can't go back to being an R, and am effectively held hostage by NC Dems who are simply not prepared for the gravity of electoral work cut out for them
Like, I've said on here before that I've had a dim view of our Attorney General Josh Stein

But I'll end up raising money for his gubernatorial race and voting for him in 2024, because the alternative is ::gestures broadly::

I'm not an NY lawyer so for all I know this will actually work and the motion will be denied. But it's still humorous watching a guy roll out a white shoe defense firm (that apparently had invested in his business?) over mean tweets

I've said a few times now that DeKlantis is less of a threat than Trump, because he has the personality of a turnip and no one likes him except the people who get paid for liking him

It makes him self-limiting in a way Trump is not
Nah, this is wishful thinking

Trump had the worst 4-year run of any modern President except maybe Carter, and in 2020 there were 74,223,975 people who looked at him and his record and said "give me 4 for more years of that guy!"
No one's going to risk jail time to overthrow the Government for Ron DeSantis

They already did for Trump
