Leaving Twitter

Dear Friend,
GoF research especially in the field of synthetic virology still is extinction level threat as @AshleyRindsberg recently phrased it.
thespectator.com/topic/funding-…
Despite constant ghost bans, Twitter was important to investigate the origin of SARS2.
1/
The recent #RaccoonDogHoax proved that
a) Zoonati have left the realms of objective, responsible scientific investigating &reporting.
Facts will not change their minds.
The truth is just too terrible.
b) There really is no evidence for a zoonotic origin
vbruttel.substack.com/p/the-stronges…
2/
The cumulative evidence, which many may not know or understand, proves a synthetic origin of SARS2 beyond reasonable doubt:

I am proud that @WashburneAlex and @tony_vandongen an I have contributed an important puzzle piece here
biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
3/
The problem now is not a lack of evidence, it's that evidence is not known/understood.
I will thus present the IMO key evidence with explanations for informed lay persons via zoom tomorrow, March 26, 8pm Berlin/3pm EDT. Recording will be made public. Comment👇for invite link.
4/
My expertise here is that of crime scene investigator. The problem was that the media (=state attorney) did not care about evidence.
I tried get a petition going:
change.org/p/bundestag-sa…
to help get politicians to act:
dx.doi.org/10.13140/RG.2.…
and pretty much failed here.
5/
The risk of GoF research concerns all of us. What's needed now is activists, journalists that understand COIs, politicians that put commissions together. And while the EU is still hypernating, a lot is happening in the US. Even non-profits emerged: biosafetynow.org
6/
So I have a lot of hope that truth will come, and GoF policies will change.
But it's important that other people fulfil this role.
I will focus my extra time on molecular patterns and solutions. We've made amazing progress in autoimmune therapeutics: aimbio.de
7/
Our tech selectively prevents autoantibodies, may even be helpful for long covid.
I'll keep posting important updates (such a my new therapeutics account) and check for DMs every now and then.
But otherwise put this account to archive mode
(everything will remain accessible).
8/
I will of course also support any origin commission. There are many experts here who can answer your questions regarding SARS2👇.
I'd like to thank them all for their amazing contributions, interesting discussions, and all the time they sacrificed for the safety of mankind.
9/
If you are interested in the following topics, please join in tomorrow (DM or comment + follow for zoom link) or watch that video once it is online.
Further Q&A maybe in a twitter space with @BiosafetyNow ?
Farewell for now, and please keep up this important fight for truth!
@BiosafetyNow Dear all, I forgot that Berlin time just changed today, the video call will already start at 2pm Eastern Time!
Sorry for the short notice!
Dear all,
this is the link to the live stream:

@flodebarre @KatherineEban @JamesCTobias wait a minute - that's it?
are you calling it a report to avoid peer review or because you have no raw data?
where are the ancestral genomes?
what are the sample collection methods and time points?
all the fanfare - about virtually nothing?
here some super obvious weaknesses:
🧵
@flodebarre @KatherineEban @JamesCTobias 1st sentence wrong, the preponderance of according to Prof. Embarek likely thousands of early samples was never sequenced. Case screening specifically targeted people connected to HSM, all we can say is that it was a sampling hotspot. HSM samples are clearly not ancestral.
@flodebarre @KatherineEban @JamesCTobias again, the area with the mammals was just the most sampled area. if corrected for sampling frequency, most positive samples clearly correlate with were the toilets are

Now this is interesting:

seems like a State Key Laboratory of Pathogen and Biosecurity scientist from Beijing uploaded a sequence from a 2019 Henan sputum sample. He thought it was from pseudomonas, but it is actually 100% the SARS2 spike without the FCS.
Remember, contaminations happen, this sequence could have come from another sample analysed in the same deep sequencing analysis.
This strongly indicates that a 100% SC2-identical spike (minus FCS) was worked with in 🇨🇳 in 2019.
Were 3nt (coding A) removed before adding the FCS?
I wrote worked with, as the rest of the seq. looks engineered:
-the first 21aa seem to come from a human plasminogen activator
-the following 8aa (GGGSGGGS) could be a flexible protein linker
-what's that IEK rich domain that follows?
Could this be a protein vaccine spike?

TWITTER-break
I will be on a one week twitter break, need time with less noise and to focus on the preprint.
Quick notes on that:
- we were encouraged to improve our preprint prior to submition based on the press release written by @OKurzai and colleagues
idw-online.de/de/news803624
- we encourage everybody to study our preprint and to form their own opinions
- we were informed that we will not get any answers to the addressed questions
,
access to the final calculations or any option to comment on the press release
➡️We unfortunately cannot follow most of the critiques and conclusions, especially with regards to bioengineering considerations and analytical flaws. We realize we have to better explain how these sites could facilitate serial testing of different RBD/FCS combinations.

Dear all,
it's been both pleasure and hard work to write this manuscript with @WashburneAlex and @tony_vandongen. The aim was to focus on a very peculiar observation made quite a while ago: a very suspicious pattern of endonuclease recognition sites in the genome of SARS-CoV-2.
This fingerprint is found in many synthetic viruses.
It can be avoided by so called "no see'm" cloning, but in this case the sites cannot be used to introduce further alterations in the reverse genetics genetics system - such as an FCS or RBM substitution (made w/ biorender).
We posted this as a preprint to invite constructive critizism. This may not be the final paper yet.
But I'd like to take the chance to thank @jbkinney for his detailed comments and @R_H_Ebright and many others for interesting twitter discussions starting👇

@cdjstrydom @pathogenetics Us: but we actually found genetic evidence that direct SARS2 ancestors were cultured on lab cell lines.
Zoo: didn't we and the Chinese delete all sequencing results contradicting a natural origin?
Us: you tried, but the NIH fucked up and @jbloom_lab later recovered them. ImageImageImage
@cdjstrydom @pathogenetics @jbloom_lab Zoo: yeah, that one, but didn't (Hans) Kristian Anderson or Stuart Neill or someone reject these actual real scientific findings as irrelevant for @biorxivpreprint?
Us: yeah, but they were then uploaded to researchsquare.com/article/rs-133… ImageImage
@cdjstrydom @pathogenetics @jbloom_lab Zoo: Right, but did any newspaper report on this actual real evidence that a pandemic killing 20 mio people started in a lab?
Us: No...
Zoo: Then leave me alone, I'm busy removing all the WIV & WCDC labs from the maps showing cases from 2 months after this pandemic started... ImageImageImageImage

Scientific & circumstantial evidence shows SARS2 originated from a gain of function experiment:
stopgof.com/english/sars-c…
We didn't investigate or tighten regulations.
We now face the Omicron pandemic, and again, scientific evidence shows it's not a natural variant.
a🧵
I highly value any constructive, scientific critizism.
Please no "you are not a virologist BS".
Also, I accept things as true if >99.99% certain.
Nothing is ever 100% in science.

Let's get started
Part 1: Why Omicron isn't a natural variant
Part 2: Where could it have come from
1a SARS2 evolved in complete isolation
While all other variants of concern (VOCs) originated from circulating SARS2 variants, Omicron originated from a most recent common ancestor (MRCA) that was not circulating anymore for more than a year.
