Pegasus is forgotten. But in hindsight, it’s purpose must not be forgotten in BJP’s strategy.

There must be worrying elements in snooped data collected from all the people Pegasus is secretly unleashed upon.

BJP might deny the impact of #BharatJodoYatra and

Rahul Gandhi’s recent coming of age performance in connecting with people on grassroots, but the obviously aggressive and hasty strategy of stifling his voice vehemently suggests that Pegasus data decoding must’ve been worrying for the ruling authoritarian regime.

They must’ve been left aghast with the undercurrent and mood among the people they’re trying to hoodwink using their feeble, fake nationalism laced propaganda.

Logically no other reason comes to mind other than the spectre of diminishing electoral prospects for BJP.

Many sane/liberal and noted columnists (either under BJP’s influence or oblivious of it) might try to analyse Rahul Gandhi’s efforts as futile and not working.

But, something solid is at play behind BJP’s current and suddenly desperate stance about RG and the general election

in 2024 that has pushed BJP to risk tarnishing their reputation even at the expense of losing moral/ethical pedestal which was painstakingly orchestrated (including selective timing of G20 presidency).

I wish some ears closer to ground zero musters up courage and writes on this!
