I've been reading the Statement IG Horowitz provided to the House Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies.

There are some notable lines in it.

This will connect directly to the mini-thread I wrote yesterday.

"During FY 2022, the DOJ OIG issued..."

-89 reports
-463 recommendations
-identified over $7.8 million in "questioned costs"
-opened 190 new misconduct investigations
-resulting in 80 arrests, 129 administrative actions, and over $23.5 million in recoveries
The IG states that DOJ's Top Management and
Performance Challenges are:

1) Enhancing Cybersecurity & Countering Cybercrime
2) Enhancing the Department’s Response to the
Opioid Crisis
3) Strengthening Public Trust in the Department
4) Safeguarding and Promoting National
Security
5) Managing the Post-Pandemic Impact on the DOJ Operations
6) Strengthening Police/Community Partnership and Response to Violent Crime
7) Effective Management of DOJ Contracts and Grants
8) Managing Human Capital
9) Improving Management of the Federal
Prison System.
The TPMC is a 60 page report, available here:

You may think, "Blah blah blah, this is boring" but my friend, may I draw your attention to this right here:

👀
IG going after PPP Loan and Covid assistance fraud, including fraud committed by DOJ employees.
Looks like someone got busted misusing EO 14006
Here is where this connects to my short thread from yesterday.

Give the DOJ OIG Subpoena power!
DOJ OIG wants a 5.1% budget increase for FY 2024.
"...$1.889 million program enhancement to support complex criminal investigations and allow the DOJ OIG to investigate highly sensitive matters relating to allegations of waste, fraud, abuse, and misconduct involving DOJ programs and personnel."
DOJ OIG’s requested $4.865 million cybersecurity and technology program enhancement for

-Software modernization
-eDiscovery, AI, and machine learning capabilities
-Body Worn Camera Program
And finally, $10 million for the OIG's oversight of DOJ's Crime Victim's Fund.

"OIG’s plans for future CVF oversight include initiating an audit of DOJ’s financial management of the
CVF. "

Interesting.
Here is a link to IG Horowitz's testimony before the House Cmte.

I have to admit, I haven't watched. Might do later.

Yesterday...

IG Horowitz asked Congress to 'upgrade his authority to include investigating allegations of professional misconduct against government lawyers involved in litigation, providing legal advice, and official investigations.
“While the IG has jurisdiction to review alleged misconduct by non-lawyers in the department, it does not have jurisdiction over alleged misconduct committed by department attorneys, including federal prosecutors, when they act in their capacity as lawyers, namely, when..."
"... they are litigating, investigating, or providing legal advice,” Horowitz told members of the House Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies during a March 23 hearing.'

Stormy is another one of Trump's Matador's Cloak tricks. His enemies, especially in the media, cannot resist charging at her. Porn, Sex, Cover-up, Hush Payments, Crooked Lawyers... as the media covers this hoax scandal THEY ARE AT THE SAME TIME informing their readers/viewers...
... of how such scandals/cover-ups work and turning them all against such things.

Hello Bill Clinton, and a number of other politicians, who have engaged in the same, and worse, behavior and who the media previously defended.
Like a Reverse Overton Window, Trump has undone much of the programming that media uploaded to the simulation in the wake of Clinton's Sex Scandals.

However, this is a secondary or tertiary benefit of the op.

Cy Vance failed to "get Trump", two prosecutors quit because of it (Mark Pomeranz and Carey Dunne), and Cy decided not to run for office again.

Along comes Alvin Bragg and he tries to do the same thing, to "get Trump" and he is gonna get the same result, but THIS TIME Trump...
..., via his Truth Social posts and statements, has highlighted the Manhattan DA's Office and put all the attention on it like never before.

For Alvin Bragg and his supporters/cheerleaders in media/politics, "there's fire on both sides of the door."
No indictment, he has failed, media/pols got tricked into joining his wagon as it launched off a cliff.

If he DOES pen an indictment, it will be easily dismissed, Trump will have more street cred and support than ever before, and Bragg+media+pols will have Hell to face.

“New intelligence reviewed by U.S. officials suggests that a pro-Ukrainian group carried out the attack on the Nord Stream pipelines last year, a step toward determining responsibility for an act of sabotage that has confounded investigators on both sides archive.is/YCvuktwitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
When the sabotaged first happened, I posited that it was Ukraine who carried out the attack and I used some circumstantial evidence to make that case.

Perhaps I was right. Perhaps not. Perhaps it was a mix of Ukraine/NATO/CIA operatives.

If you can put your Fake News filters ON and read this article with a mind to understand what it is in it and not simply react to it, you can find some really interesting nuggets of information.

Treat it as a ‘paint by numbers’ exercise.

Here’s what stands out to me. Image

Isn't it interesting how every time Pence has the opportunity to turn on Trump, to damage him, sabotage him, to implicate him in some way... Pence does the opposite?

Aren't they feuding?

Aren't they opponents in an upcoming GOP Primary?
In the latest sign that the feud is fake (kayfabe), here are Trump and Pence aligning in a fight against Special Counsel Smith's grand jury subpoena of Pence.

cnn.com/2023/03/04/pol…
The fight is likely to go to SCOTUS where they will have to decide if the Constitution's Speech and Debate Clause shields Pence from such a subpoena.

One document that immediately drew attention was this FBI 302.

Not because it is new, but because it has been RECLASSIFIED and redacted as of last Spring.
Here is the version that @jsolomonReports obtained and published on January 20th, 2021.
