Norway chapter had launched a petition, garnering more than 3200 signatures from across Norway, appealing the Norwegian authorities and the Norwegian government to “initiate dialogue with the international community for basic human rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”

Indian Army's 3 missiles misfire during exercise in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer.
Three missiles of the Indian Army misfired during an exercise in Jaisalmer district of the Indian state of Rajasthan.

The firing exercise was being held at the Pokhran field firing range when the three surface-to-air missiles were misfired due to a technical glitch.
The three missiles went out of range and hit the fields in different villages, causing loud explosions.
However, no loss of life or property was reported.
Indian Defence spokesperson Lt Col Amitabh Sharma said the missiles were misfired during a military exercise. An investigation has been initiated and further action will be taken accordingly.
