Flirting is like Atsumu’s middle name. He’s a natural at it, without even trying. And he knows he’s good at it.

That’s why he’s busy flirting with Sakusa Kiyoomi, the rookie in MSBY.

Atsumu had met him on Youth Camp years ago, but didn’t really pay an attention to him. But now, seeing him tall and attractive really pulls Atsumu attention.

“Please tell you Mom I say thank you.” Atsumu says as he sit down beside Kiyoomi.

“For what, exactly?”

“For making such a fine piece of man that you are, Omiomi.”

Kiyoomi makes a ‘shoot myself’ gesture. “You’re the worst.”

The blonde does’t say anything but wink at him. This is fun.

The next week, they are on the court when Atsumu flirts with Kiyoomi again. “You know Omi, normally I can’t hold two balls in my hand but I’ll make it work for you.”

“What are you? A horn dog? Go away.”

Again, Atsumu doesn’t say anything, just laughs and wink at Kiyoomi.

Making Kiyoomi gets annoyed is fun. And Atsumu won’t stop bothering him, just because.

This time, they are on a dinner night with the team. Of course, Atsumu chooses to sit next to Kiyoomi.

“Guys, we should do another karaoke night. And Atsumu-san, you have to sing again! Don’t hide that beautiful voice of yours!” Ah, typical of Shoyo to intiate a night out for the team.

“Aw, you’re making me blush Shoyo!” That makes Kiyoomi rolles his eyes.

Atsumu turn to Kiyoomi and whispers, “And you should give me a call too. I can sing pretty well on bed, ya know.”

Kiyoomi throws him a carrot to shut him up.

And as always, Atsumu just laughs. To be honest he doesn’t expect anything since Kiyoomi is clearly not interested in him.

But Atsumu is not fool. Tonight, he feels Kiyoomi’s gazing at him for a few times. It should makes him happy, right? But why does he feel nervous?

Off season is officially starts. It's not a rare sight to see the dorm is almost empty. Everyone is busy doing their own thing. But not with Atsumu and Kiyoomi.

Somehow, the universe does it magic and make Atsumu couldn’t go home, his Ma is going somewhere and Osamu is here.

As for Kiyoomi, he didn’t get a ticket home.

It’s a quiet night at the dorm and it makes Atsumu restless. Too quiet to his liking.

So he does what any normal person do; order two boxes of pizza and knocks on Kiyoomi’s door.

Atsumu smiles and makes his way inside of Kiyoomi’s room. “I bought pizzas so we can watch a movie and kiss.”

Kiyoomi remains silent on his spot.

“I’m kidding! Come on, let’s eat. I swear I won’t tease ya.”

“Let’s just hope you stick to that promise, yeah?”

And Atsumu does. After picking up a Disney movie (which Kiyoomi strongly disagree), Atsumu’s concentration is locked on the movie.

It’s one of the thing Kiyoomi least expected from the blonde to do.

And he have to admit, he is used to Atsumu’s flirting toward him, so the silence is something new.

He uses this moment to study the blonde’s face. When he’s like this, Kiyoomi can see Atsumu’s attractiveness. It’s not like he’s blind but this time, he can truly /sees/ it.

He won’t tell this to any living soul, but the way Atsumu flirts with him makes him feel something. Something unfamiliar yet welcomed.

“If ya keep looking at me like that, I might really kiss ya.”

Atsumu doesn’t move his head when he says this but the smirks stays on his face. Heart pumps a little faster.

“Don’t flatter yourself, I was merely admiring how annoying your face is.”

Playfully, Atsumu punches Kiyoomi’s arm, but it is an excuse to touch Kiyoomi.

“No comeback? That’s a first.”

“It’s off season, I’m on a break.”

Kiyoomi turns his body towards Atsumu, looking at him with a smile on his face. A first smile Atsumu has ever seen on his face.

And he can feel like the situation is reversed now.

“Pity. I was hoping you could deliver your infamous flirtatious lines.”

To say Atsumu is shocked is an understatement. He is fully blown away. Because, who would’ve thought Kiyoomi would say something like this?

“Who are you? What did you do to Omiomi?”

This time, Kiyoomi laughs and pokes his nose. “You think you’re the only one who can flirt, /Atsumu/?”

Kiyoomi moves closer to Atsumu, who spontaneously moves away from him.

“Why? Are you shy now? Tell me those flirty lines of yours again.”

“W-wait, hold on-“

“I’ve been holding on since the first time I laid my eyes on you.”

“Bullshit.”

“If so, why do I always stick with you when you know I’m not keen to be friends with stranger?”

“I’m no stranger, I’m your teammates.”

“Not for long”

Kiyoomi moves closer until he’s right in front of Atsumu, taking the smaller man’s face in his hands.

“I’m going to kiss you. Move away if you don’t want-“

Before Kiyoomi can finishes his sentence, Atsumu grabs the lapel of his t-shirt and kisses him.

God, it feels like dream when their lips meet. Soft lips moving against the other, it is intoxicating. And Kiyoomi is intoxicated by with kiss, with Atsumu.

Minutes passes and their lips are still sealed together. None wanting to end this, but the lack of air says otherwise.

Atsumu breaks the kiss, looking bewildered when he looks at Kiyoomi.

“You really did kiss me.”

“Oh, shut up.” Atsumu hides his face in Kiyoomi’s neck.

“Oh look, you're shy.”

“And why are you suddenly flirting with me now. Go away, i want to watch the damn movie.”

“Yeah, yeah me too. But I prefer if i can hold you during the movie.”

Tonight, Kiyoomi has no fail to make Atsumu mouth hang open.

“I will never get used to this.” Atsumu says as he leans his body to be hold by Kiyoomi.

“Don’t worry, you will.”

And since that, they spend a lot of night together, usually in Kiyoomi’s dorm, hanging out, watching movies, and doing something that disturbs the MSBY members sleep at night.
