I'd like to pick up on a key point - Namely how the #TRA movement is "driven by pure Narcissism". More specifically, how the tactics deployed by #TRAs reflect those of Narcissistic Abuse. Thread. (1/10)

Narcissistic abuse consists of various tactics as outlined here: psychologytoday.com/gb/blog/toxic-… And Narcissists require two key souces of Narcissistic supply: Admiration and Attention. Two such individuals who have gained much attention are @ shaneellall and @ elianarubashkyn (2/10)

In the case of Lal, prior to @ThePosieParker's visit to #LetWomenSpeakAuckland he published an article calling for a counter-protest, in which he states: "I have attended many protests, but this is the first time I feel fearful for my safety." (3/10)

This 'fearful' stance was replicated on his Twitter posts where he states "As TERRIFED as I am on transphobic hatred, we will protest this" along with exaggerated smears towards KJK. In a TV interview, he cites several Smolletesque 'hate' incidents (4/10)

Now this is the crux. What @shaneellall is doing here is invoking the Karpman Drama Triangle. This is a tactic where Narcissists "PLAY the victim" to a bogus "persecutor" (@ThePosieParker) in order to rope in "rescuers" (the mob). (5/10) mental-health-matters.org/2021/01/20/wha…

As events unfolded it was actually the other way round as to who the ACTUAL victim was (@ThePoseParker) & who the REAL persecutors were (the mob; as incited by the TQ+ Narcissist). This is an important dynamic of manipulation to be wary of when dealing with TQ+ Narcissists (6/10)

This is similar to another tactic known as #DARVO. This means Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim, Offender. dynamic.uoregon.edu/jjf/defineDARV… This brings us onto @ elianarubashkyn. Prior to #StandingForWomenNZ He had preempted taking some Tomato soup intended to throw at @ThePosieParker (7/10)

He managed to throw the soup over @ThePosieParker (& boast about it), although this has since been subverted into quite an iconic image for KJK. However, he (& others) have not yet been charged for the violence directed towards #StandingForWomen attendees, but *rewarded* (8/10)

He has since popped up in a viral video. At no point has he apologised for his actions, but cries at so-called "trans genocide", blubbing "they are going to kill us". This is classic DARVO - This and Karpman Dynamics are to be expected from TQ+ Narcissists. (9/10)

To conclude, these TQ+ Narcissists are VERY manipulative, will convincingly play the victim to suck in gullible rescuers (often Autistic/ASD) to persecute others (Flying Monkeys) in order to get what they want. Hope this helps (10/10) psychologytoday.com/gb/blog/women-…

To add: As long as these TQ+ Narcissists are unpunished or rewarded for their sociopathic behaviour, they will continue to wreak havoc on society until someone in authority brings them to account - it is not 'transphobic' to do this.
