2/5 ESMs are Required to submit Online Income Proof of their Dependents, Form 26 AS of previous 2 Financial Years OR Income Certificate obtained from State Revenue Dept. Failing Which ECHS Cards are being Blocked Electronically, Debarring the Dependents Avail Medical Facilities.
3/5 No such Annual Validation is Implemented in CGHS for their Dependents. Policies already existing in Vogue in CGHS are only to be followed in ECHS. Even In the Armed Forces, No such Annual Validation is Implemented for Dependents of the Serving Soldiers.
4/5 It is not understood, Why ECHS only Felt the Necessity. If it is To Weed Out the Ineligible Dependents.Then Why Not the Same is Implemented in CGHS for their Dependents & Armed Forces for Dependents of Serving Soldiers? Why only Ex-Servicemen are being Treated as a Stepchild.
5/5 It is Requested that Moral Character of Ex-Servicemen be not doubted, Inspite of their Giving Best Years of Life for the Integrity & Security of the Nation.They be Treated like Serving Soldiers & CGHS Benefecieries.Annual Validation be either Cancelled or Implemented for All.
