It seems like every day there is a story about a Soros-backed Leftist prosecutor downgrading charges against a career criminal, dismissing charges altogether, or worse: going after innocent Americans for defending themselves against actual criminals.

There is a reason for this.

When the dregs of society are institutionally permitted to repeatedly commit crime and violate other people's rights without fear of prosecution, police intervention, or retribution by fellow citizens, they are being conditioned to believe there are no consequences to misdeeds.

And there is an important reason why the Left wants to condition miscreants to believe they can commit crimes and other atrocities with impunity. But more on that later.

Prosecutors reducing/dropping charges against criminals isn't the only problem. The Left has kneecapped police in many jurisdictions either through #DefundThePolice threats/movements, or ordering them to stand down in cases they should step in to protect the safety of innocents.

Recent example: @BillboardChris peacefully protesting is surrounded by a violent bolshevik mob. A man dressed as a woman approaches and violently accosts him, yelling inches from his ear, but police refuse to deescalate--or even arrest him after finally pummeling @BillboardChris.

Notice the elements of the case: peaceful protester in a public park harassing no one; violent, unhinged weirdo rushes at him, fiendishly yells in his ear so loudly it could deafen him; police nearby do nothing; and violent offender isnt arrested even after throwing first punch.

This conveys two harmful messages:
1. Miscreants know they can brutally violate people's rights & space w/impunity.
2. Victims know they cannot count on The Law to protect them, and if they decide to protect themselves (ie: justifiably smack a bitch) The Law will prosecute THEM.

There was a time not long ago that adults were allowed to settle differences, even with limited violence. In another era, the guy who was minding his business and was rushed by a lunatic yelling insults in his ear would have kicked his ass and that wouldve been the end of it.

Kids were conditioned early on to not transgress, not just against authority (because parents, teachers, etc. would discipline them), but also by their own peers who would teach them a lesson on respect out on the playground. That's no longer the case with either kids or adults.

If a troublemaker oversteps now and gets his ass kicked, police are called, people get arrested and lives are ruined. It'd be one thing if the instigator was prosecuted, but more & more often it's the innocent party who is tormented for exercising his human right to self-defense.

All this isn't bad merely because it's unfair. It's really bad because powerless law enforcement combined with innocent people in fear of defending themselves against increasingly brazen criminals is a recipe for more frequent and severe crimes, which leads to anarchy and chaos.

And that's part of the goal: chaos.
Condition good people to fear miscreants and fear taking them on, and condition the miscreants to believe they can commit crimes and atrocities with impunity. And those who lack virtue but have not yet entered a life of crime will take note.

They will see that crime pays off with little to no risk, and will be that much more likely to join the ranks of criminals and/or all-around scumbags themselves. More chaos.

So why would the Left want more criminals and scumbags?

Criminals/scumbags are unlikely to ever reach upward mobility and have anything worth fighting for (families, job, property, status). Thus, there are more bitter, aggrieved people demanding more from gov't and others, including revolutionary change--exactly what the Left desires.

A successful revolution doesnt need a majority of the population. All it needs is a militant minority operating with impunity to achieve its aims unrestrained by morals or concerns over consequences, and a sheepish majority unwilling or afraid to fight back.

See where I'm going?

We are already seeing symptoms of a Mao-like Leftist cultural revolution brewing here incorporating mob violence, public shaming, and weaponization of institutions.

When you condition the law-abiding to fear resisting criminals and when you condition criminals to believe they can transgress with impunity, would-be bolsheviks will be emboldened to revolt knowing they will face no resistance from either citizens or the authorities.
