Why aren't there clear disclaimers for sponsored/paid interviews and branding exercises?
It's a clearly known loophole, which scammers use to improve their search history / SEO rankings - by using similar sounding recognitions / association.
AltNews in their article on The Wire's former 'consultant' Devesh Kumar - had borrowed already researched work & re-purposed it in their article, without due credits.
When questioned over email, they denied any plagiarism - which is mischievous on their end.
On 30th Oct. '22, when The Wire had lodged a complaint against Devesh Kumar, by that evening itself I had published a thread containing more than 50+ tweets, along with evidences and more clues/leads.
By that time Devesh Kumar already had deleted his blog, Twitter account, etc.
The claim about adoption of a girl child, the methodology of fact checking & also the URL of the archive used are the same.
On web.archive.org there are 10 different versions avbl., but AltNews quoted the same URL from 11th Aug '20 - which I did.
