The Nāsadīya Sūkta, also known as the Hymn of Creation, is the 129th hymn of the 10th mandala of the Rigveda (10:129).

It is concerned with cosmology and the origin of the universe.

I can never read it, without being transported to another world, 1500 years ago, when a Human Mind launched into the Cosmos & attempted to pierce the very origin of creation, in words remarkably similar to what is used to describe the event today.

Hymn:
It is an incredible and unparalleled leap of the Mind followed by a healthy dose of skepticism as to both, the origin described & who might be responsible for it or did it all happen spontaneously.
Whatever one may believe or want to believe, one thing is clear.

That stupendous leap of the Mind has, despite tantalising glimpses, never been bridged scientifically till today!.

Even a beautiful story about the bond between a Saurus crane and a man, in @BBC hands has to have an anti-Indian headline. bbc.com/news/world-asi…
The story is short and simple:
* Mohammad Arif finds an injured saurus crane in his field & nurses it to good health.

* They bond strongly & even after it recovers it remains with him.

* Wildlife authorities come to know about the bird and take it away.
*"Uttar Pradesh is home to at least 17,000 Sarus cranes, where it is the official "state bird".

"Under Indian law it's illegal for individuals to keep Sarus cranes or even feed them."

It should be clear to most people in the world that the West, principally USA is responsible for the ghastly and knotty problem that has been created.

Take India's case, for example.

It will become increasingly difficult to maintain strategic autonomy.

As the Russian bear increasingly leans on Chinese dragon, the Indian Elephant will be compelled to tie up with a soaring eagle, that has and will help it in the fight with the dragon, it's enemy No.1
As @DrSJaishankar said some time back...
a) We look to our self-interest and
b) Reconcile it with our ethical view of the world.

We clearly do not live in a black & white world. America is no lily-white angel, not are the Russians & the Chinese devils.
