"How to use your Twitter profile to turn ice-cold traffic into your personal buyer's list."

(I've never seen anyone on MoneyTwitter do this)...

First, make sure you position yourself as a DR copywriter in your bio.

It could say something like...

"Tweets about making money with direct response copy. Copywriter for the 800lb gorilla in fin pub. $20M in gross sales. Swipe my favorite sales letter here: [insert link].
So what's the link?

I'd buy the following url:

swipethisletter.com

(It's available!)...

So the last sentence of your bio looks like:

"Swipe my favorite sales letter: swipethisletter.com
"

Now take a second and notice how all this plays out for your reader...
Follower or not, someone visits your bio.

They could be hot, they could be cold.

And if they're reading your bio, they're into copy and marketing.

So swiping a sales letters is a big benefit for them.

As a result, they click the link to swipethisletter.com
And it takes them to a LONG sales letter with the headline:

"SWIPE THIS LETTER!"

The copy will tease:

- how you used a special method to write this sales letter...how it turns cold traffic into buyers...and how they can do the same thing...

But how?
At the end of the page, you introduce an offer to show the reader exactly how you wrote the page they're reading.

You promise to explain the psychology, the big idea, plus a recording showing how you wrote each "chunk" of copy...

Basically, your offer says...
"Sure, you can 'Swipe This Letter' on your own.

But my course shows you the inner workings behind this letter, and how YOU can do the exact same thing to turn lurkers and visitors into cold hard cash."

Boom.

Slap a price on the offer. $1...$20...maybe $99...

And voila:
You now have a "Money Twitter Funnel™️" that converts ice-cold strangers into red hot buyers.

Pretty rad, right?

Maybe one of these days, I'll get off my lazy butt and actually do this 😂...

But for now, it's all yours bay bee!

"How do I get new clients?"

I'm the worst "guru" to ask.

I've only ever had one client during my whole entire copywriting career.

But if I HAD to get a new client?...
I'd simply use the principles of direct response to generate new business.

Think:

A publisher/offer owner is just like any other buyer.

They have hopes.

Dreams.

Emotional hot buttons.

So what do they want...

...right now?...
A lot of "CW's" seem to think it's:

- "discovery calls"
- back-and-forth zoom meetings
- and long, drawn-out negotiations over contracts.

They'll send out a weak pitch.

Lavishing the publisher in with their credentials and previous experience.

Some of that stuff is OK...

The SHOCKING Truth about About A/B Split-Testing...

(Theory-Cel Copywriters DOWN BAD):
A handful of times on social media, I've seen copywriters arguing over a trivial wording issue.

(For example:

How often you should use the word "you" in your copy.

Or something else with a negligible impact on a 10,000 word promotion).

Inevitably, 1 CW will say:
"Just test it."

And with those 3 words.

I know that "copywriter" has no idea what they're talking about.

They're a theory-cel.

And they shouldn't be trusted.

But why?

lol.

After all.

The whole point of direct response is to test.

And find what works.

Right? Not quite...
